Bog anime showed how powerful beerus was and how menacing he was going from planets to planet destroying it. Only thing bog movie had better was animation but the story is shit compared to anime bog.

The hype for this movie was unreal, everyone was still riding the high from battle of gods when the promos and trailers started dropping for this movie. Not only was Frieza coming back but we knew he had a new form. Plus Goku and Vegeta’s new forms. People were yelling in the theaters no joke.

Animators had more time with the movie. DBS was going through a rough production around this arc and animators had to split their time between other shows (like One Piece) while dealing with impossible deadlines. Thankfully things get better as the show continues.
The Z Fighter battle scene is easily one of the greatest team fights in the series 🔥
One of the only ones sadly they should do more of those

Remember frieza in his white final form is actually his original base form and the others were created to suppress his own power. So him fighting Goku in base is incredibly impressive.
Goku was also in his base form so I dont know why that is so impressive to you. Plus, frieza was not even touching goku when they were fighting so there is nothing to be impressed about his base form. The only thing impressive about him is how he managed to leap into a super saiyan blue level form catching up to both goku and vegeta in such a short time.

The 3 things Super did better than the movie are:
1. Having Gohan risk his life just to provide an energy source so that Goku & Vegeta could teleport in
2. The Super Saiyan Blue transformation was just done so much better in super
3. Having Goku power down into his base when he gets shot by the beam. Seeing Goku get taken out by a beam shot from a weapon while in his fucking BLUE form is ridiculous, I don't care how off guard he was, it literally shouldn't have been able to damage him. Super changing him to be in base form when it happened does make it a lot more understandable.
Everything else in the movie is significantly better, but those 3 things were just such powerful additions to me
I don't agree with the first one. I feel like having Gohan nearly destroy himself to call Goku was an unnecessary attempt to add drama and suspense to that arc, just like having Frieza kill Piccolo.
@@justinbryan6249 I feel you with Piccolo, his sacrifice DEFINITELY felt shoe horned in and adds artificial drama, but the biggest reason I like the Gohan change is because let's be honest, in the movie Gohan just looked like a bitch. I'm sorry, but without him being the anchor for instant transmission, he's just getting tortured and has zero relevancy. It could just be my own bias, but in Super it gave a "Good job, you did your part" type of feel, while in the movie it's like i'm just sitting there waiting for his moment that never came.

Vegeta vs Frieza was way better executed in Super than in RoF.
Niagara Pummel and that ground slam at Frieza flipping was marvelous to watch.
Better animation does not mean the feeling is more satisfying than quality of the fighting choreography.

Something I definitely appreciate about the “Resurrection F” movie is how they show how each character has mastered their fighting styles/attacks. Old man Roshi has perfect control over the Kamehameha, Piccolo used his special beam cannon in seconds (as compared to the saiyan saga where he had to charge the move), Tien maxed out the output of his Tri-Beam attack for the group kill, and Krillin showed his talent at strategy by fighting cost-efficiently (he gets the biggest K.O. count he can for the least amount of effort).
We gotta love the little details, know what I mean? ✌️😎

Piccolo not charging it has nothing to do with him mastering it. It gets stronger the longer he charges it, has always been stated, he just didnt charge it as much here cause there was no point.
The only thing that was BS about the movie was how Sorbet was able to shoot through goku’s body while still in ssj blue even if he did drop his guard he was still transformed and should have been able to take that blast with out any issues

The music, animation, and even like the boom sounds just pop in this vs the anime. One thing I miss so much is the music of Z. Know they had a falling out with Faulkner that did the DBZ music, but surely someone could do better than what's in Super.

Hell yeah!! This movie is bonkers bro I was so hype when this came out. Idk if you caught when Frieza said "All hail Vegeta prince of no-one" right before vegeta turns blue but the way vegeta humbles him after that is so satisfying. The arcs after this get better the first 2 are garbagio, love the vids dawg🔥
Seeing this in theaters was hype man. Especially when the 1 inch punch happened and when Vegeta took over including the "I'm going to pulverize you until there's nothing left" line since we all knew the history of how their last fight went
Both me and my brother saw this when it came out in theaters for my birthday we absolutely loved it though were a bit confused in the beginning with Frieza's hell and that music they used when he was resurrecting was sick man when Vegeta went Super Saiyan Blue everyone including us went wild great reaction

And there are stuff like lockdown, roll call and stuff that you have to go to a certain times. If I’m not mistaken this music is the lockdown music

4:00 Yeah, Jaco is WAY more likeable in the movie. Sadly, this is the ONLY time he's like this.
I mean Jaco did have other cool moments in the anime that showed that he is very strong and only weak when compared to the z fighters. For example one of them being that he basically two shot a wanted criminal and he did it with style.

The thing I like about the movie more then in the show is that in the movie they showcased both the differences of SSB and golden Frieza. In the movie they really show how ssb is more enduranced based compared to golden Frieza, where Frieza clearly has the edge in power, but they both had their time to shine in this fight. This fight in the show just makes ssb and goku look like a bit of a joke.

This is my second favorite Super Movie. First is Super Broly right now. But the soundtrack, choreography, pacing, it's all fantastic! This is why I love the movies more than the show. It really suits my type of entertainment. And the animations are dope as hell! I went through a whole phase where I did nothing but listen to Frieza's Ressurection F Theme. I'm glad you enjoyed it too.
