    Hi, it looks amazing! What ESC is used for C34? Is the HobbyWing 1080 only supported by the sound controller?

    • @TheDIYGuy999
      @TheDIYGuy999  Před 3 lety +1

      It is a Hobbywing 1060. Every "crawler style" ESC (with proportional brake) is supported, but the 1080 is the best in my opinion.

    Looks and sounds great. I like how you made the tail lights with the SMD leds. FYI I tried using a cheap little TDA2030A amplifier module which is about twice as loud as the PAM8403 in my tanks. I run it off my 2S lipo so it gets a little more voltage.

      Thanks. This amp is an analogue type and will use a lot of current. For bigger models it may make sense.

    • @TheDIYGuy999

      @@picturexxxx Ja, der funktioniert auch. Allerdings ist der 1080 nach wie vor besser, da man ihn mittels Programmierkarte optimal einstellen kann. Ich umgehe das soweit möglich, indem ich das Ausgangssignal vom ESP32 soweit möglich beeinflusse.

      @@picturexxxx Wieso? Es ist alles wie gehabt, aber zusätzlich kannst du beim Anfahren etwas mehr ESC Power geben, falls die "Kupplung" zu stark schleift. Ebenso kannst du den Rückwärtsgang schneller machen. Einstellbar ab der nächsten Version im Tab "3_adjustmentsESC.h"

    Hello, getting a PCB built at JLC some parts are not in the libuary/stock. I have found very similar parts for R27 and R30 200ohms BUT R28 shows 47ohms on the schematic,can not find anything similar to choose,can you advice please? will 200ohms bo ok also,like R27 and 29?

    • @TheDIYGuy999
      @TheDIYGuy999  Před 3 lety

      I don't use them, but they have a 47Ohm SMD resistor for sure. You can use 200 ohms, but the LED will be a lot darker

    Hello, I have a question about your sound and light module. Using PCBWAY and your gerber files, it states 10 unique parts and 24 parts jn total. I can get a cheaper deal on JLCPCB their site does not show part amount in samw way But counting the parts listed only 23 parts are used. I used same BOM and CPL files. Do you have any views on this please. Thanks

      Just order the boards as described in the PDF. If you want to use a different supplier, you have to edit the components list by yourself.

    Hi, nice to meet you, can you help me, I am using the latest RC Sound Endine ver 6.4 and communication using PWM, but when pin 33 is connected to the ESC, the motor does not rotate, only sound comes out.Why is that? Can you help me? Looking forward for your help,thank before🙏

    • @TheDIYGuy999
      @TheDIYGuy999  Před 3 lety

      Hi, hard to tell. Are you using a pre made board? What type is your ESC? You should do basic error solving steps, using a multimeter or oscilloscope. Also check for bad solder joints.

    Hello,i made a big mistake with my question below. I got the SMD wrongs. Using the BOM all the parts match except 1. JLC want to use 200ohms 1/8w R for part R9. The schematic shows 330ohms for that part???? Should i override JLC and choose 330 for R9? i do not know jlc wants to use 200ohms ,when it auto chooses 330 for R1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and 10. Sorry to keep asking but i am a novice

      Hi, I assume you are talking about the sad version? If yes, the schematic says 200Ohms for R9.
