I am a Brazilian-American journalist living in Florida. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. Living for almost 8 years now in Portugal and still getting that amazing feeling of being there. I live in Setubal but always worked in Lisbon. I have been in many city's in the world but Lisbon got that special thing that is not easy to discribe in words. Just go to Lisbon and walk. Don't search for things on your mobile, but get surprised by taking a left or right turn. 😉
That's a great way to discover a city. Gordon likes to take a jaunt now and then and just photo things he sees. You live in a great city.
Hi! Any suggestion for what part of the city I should stay in? We are a family with a seven year old girl, so I’m not looking for nightlife! I would like to be somewhere beautiful and convenient but not the most touristy. Any suggestions?? :)

@@RenataPereiraTV i don’t think so. I come from a charming city too, Amsterdam , but believe me , Lisbon has got it all. Not too big, like Paris or London , a nice mix of Latin Europe/ Africa / BRASIL , great restaurants and nightlife, beautiful architecture , a rich past and….a great weather climate.

Lisbon is by far my most favorite European city, besides Rome. She is absolutely beautiful! She is a diamond that has inspired artists, poets, musicians not only with her uniqueness, light and incredible location, but also her elegance, rawness and most importantly her history. I like to study every destination before visiting it just like you do and seeing places in your videos really helped in deciding to visit some!

Hi Renata! My three girlfriends and I will be leaving for Portugal this Sunday! So excited! We'll be going to Porto first, and Coimbra, Evora, etc., before arriving in Lisbon! Alfama was super chill with great views.
Sao Jorge Castle was better than I thought it would be. Again, great views of the city.

You are so lucky being there, I miss Lisbon I used to go there twice a year once in the spring and once in late summer but of course I haven't been there for a year now since Covid. My heart skips a beat whenever I see a video of it

@@RenataPereiraTV I always stay in Campo Pequeno and I like to take walks starting from Avenida Republica all the way to Praca Commerco. If I were given a chance to live there I would definitely stay in Saldanha if I can afford it or in Campo Orique area

Such a pleasure to be watching this: Portuguese food is certainly underrated, since they invented the very concept of world cuisine. Though I am only familiar with the French-style of "bacalhau", which I like making all the time:
usually called "Brandade de morue brûlée", but can also be simply called "bacalao".
