Dev started the stream at 3AM in China time, which may also reflect that 1.5 version of this game is getting more income and audience then the mediocre start of Snowbreak in China

@@DisIngRaM I think it's more about the market Snowbreak is trying to focus on right now. The west is getting them better numbers than China so they're sacrificing their Chinese market by posting at 3AM to give us a video posted at a reasonable time.

They really do care and that's why I'm sticking with this game. The rogue mode is fun man, I hope they'll always keep upgrading it because it could get amazing with more work put into it
One thing you missed is how they're gonna delete the male logistics though, that's one change I don't like but they likely decided to turn them into girls as a response to the controversy a certain other girl frontline game is going through right now..

It seems that they are definitely going full on full on waifu mode (Which I am completly fine with) I hope the Background update they do uses the 3D models in different pose and if they are purchasable they are not too expensive I could easily imagen what you said to be implemented, I can also just see them adding Live 2D background of the girls as well maybe obtainable htrough buying the skin or earned through events. As for skins I hope they do more Bunny girl outfits like Tess, they are big BIG sellers in eastern countries as well and fan favorite theme when it come to these types of games the only other ones that come close are the wedding, gala and chinese new year dress which I can see all of theme being added at some point if we are going full waifu mode now.
As of gameplay I do hope they add more modes to be able to earn gems if we are getting all of this degenerate content which will most likely drain our wallted I hope they at least decide to add more ways to get gems so that way can at leasy have a higher change to get the character and be more willing to open up the wallet for the outfits and the other things they might add in the future.

In regards to more gems, they did just give us 20 multis through the mail, as well as more opal vouchers. So I think there is a decent chance of them giving us more gems. But at the same time we only get one new character every new update, so I think the current amount is fine. As long as you log-in fairly consistently you can reliably get every character. More gems would help with getting weapons tho.
Sound like they are desperate after cutting English Dub and now just go back to the tried and True Gacha tactic of selling virtual Private girls.

School girl outfits and wedding dresses while perfectly fine are so unimaginative and tired and Yao QQ’s office attire fit is still my fav. Give us more business casual! Also, the base models are definitely getting better so hopefully that means they will do quality updates on older units

Nah I agree, those themes are definitely over played. But at the same time I won't complain about the school outfits lol. Wedding dresses I always found strange, but as long as we get unique outfits, I won't mind wedding and school designs every now and then.

On the other hand, the video specifically states that CN players love schoolgirl and wedding outfits. Along with bikinis, that's exactly the kind of fan service skins that sells in huge volumes to a western audience.
This isn't about me being a "stick in the mud". It's quite clear that Snowbreak was in serious financial difficulty after the first two patches. All I care about is that a game I'm invested in, and have paid money towards, doesn't get end of serviced.

I never said I was opposed to wedding dresses and school girls outfits, only that they are overplayed. Not everyone has taste and the devs learned this the hard way. As someone who is also invested in the future of the game I can only hope that if it continues to do well that they will be bold enough to diversify.
Dominatrix themed skins would sell well to western audiences as well but frankly they don’t give a fuck about us because we aren’t keeping their lights on. Sadly your so stuck on the idea of “feminists in suits” that you can’t see all of the amazing potential beyond your own sweat
I'm willing to play this game again. If they're more generous in the gacha system and no 50/50 BS but 100% chance in getting the debut characters if we hit the 90 pity.
Because I bought a new tablet and a controller exactly for this game.
I think the best we can hope for is them lowering pity to 80, 70, or maybe even 60. I highly doubt they'll get rid of 50/50 completely. They did say they want to improve rewards so who knows maybe we'll get more Crystal's.

Even in PGR you know how expensive those skins are, but I still buy most them, because I wanted to support them and they deserve it.
I've been playing since launch and almost all of the problems that were there at the beginning are now gone or at least some what better. All it needs now is more replayable, rewardable, content and the game would be amazing.
All I want is the same suit as Haru/Katya wears for EVERY other character. I'll buy it no questions.

I thought my characters were underbuilt when I got absolutely demolished in the first few times of the hardest part in Paradox Labyrinth. My Haru's ass got kicked so many time b4 I learnt that Lyfe & Fenny just trivialise even the hardest difficulty with just a few key buffs. I still don't know how to use Haru but I've been able to use Fenny, Lyfe, Chenxing, Yao to clear the hardest one. Haru seems so pathetically underpowered for the stages that I've given up ln her for now.
Edit: I wrote this even before I got to the end of the video but yea I did that "Haru's Ass" coincidentally
Well, Haru isn't bad she's just mainly a mob clearer, she struggles with bosses. That's probably why we were struggling using her. The others you mentioned are more general purpose DPS, probably why it's easier to clear labyrinth with them. I haven't used them yet but I definitely will now just to see the difference in performance.
@@missingpage For Fenny (and to a certain extent Lyfe) I recommend those DMG in exchange for HP as well as the Ballistic DMG costing U energy and add the Recovery option to that as well. This just slaps the boss. But these are glass cannons. The survivability can be improved using the shield on hit buff and add any more you think would help. Chenxing and Yao have their own weakspot DMG buffs which deal massive damage atleast to beauvoir. Njall they do okay, not as good as Lyfe and Fenny
Personally I think their only 2 major issue for me:
-The first is the gun game play...or the npc AI and the cover system. Like whats the point of using cover when its faster to just get shot at.
-The character design...Its just that they look very plastic? Which was something that I didnt like.
I'm in delimma to wait for next patch or get Haru. Ass we know, Katya was kinda changed like i hope next characters arent super 'out there' and be like past and have free skins that are 'out there'. I play the game for its 3rd person shooter and the changes are good but hope they dont go overboard cause if you dont know or remember Genshin had to 'nerf' Rosaria Shenhe and, give outfits to Jean Mona and Amber. That too happens.
too bad they don't care about EN VOs, it's extremely jarring to have Fenny speak english in one outfit and japanese in another, it cut my enjoyment of the game in half knowing they dropped EN VOs.
I understand why they cut it, the game was bleeding players and money. But since the game has been growing recently I hope they bring it back someday. I miss my British Fritters!

personally i think its the best time to start.. devs proved from the beginning they care.. one of the most responsive dev.. alot of bug fixed, free daily stamina, standard operative + weap preferred option added, new game mode added, chat + sticker + party invitation added, dev already decided to take waifu path, bunch of QoL etc
bunch of content for new player, alot of higher lv player to carry/help you to clear harder co op content the only competitive content rn is neural sims or bulwark event but dont worry the reward is not much different heck neural sims top 1% reward is the same as 1-5% the only difference is the emblem reward which is just for show off for one week duration 😂
if you planning for competing for top 1% neural sims if the banner patern the same then the next patch rerun char should be mauxir s.ka literally built for speed running in neural sims
i only have 2 dps and both of them are standard operative camping comfortably in 1% neural sims (0.5-0.7%)
If I've learned anything from years of playing different gachas, it's never to late to start. Snowbreak is still new, barely 6 months old, so you haven't really missed much outside of temporary event game modes, aswell as the temporary 1.1 and 1.3 event stories. Snowbreak doesn't have any PvP outside of leaderboards, so no stress about having a "good" account. Just summon for the characters you like. The game is really fun in my opinion, and has steadily improved with every update, definitely worth checking out.

The feet update was the characters taking off their shoes when sleeping. before they slept with them on. Personally I just want more tacticool outfits and not fan servicey ones.

I want a balance of both fan service and tactical. Like Nita for example, I want a cool armored 5 star rather than a skimpy one. But when vulture eventually (hopefully) becomes playable I want the THICKNESS haha

They did say they wanted to improve Paradox Labyrinth, presumably bug fixes is a part of that. It's a balance, Improved and more core content should definitely be a priority. But having these small extra stuff like the dorm system and homepage backgrounds is nice to.

Not sure, most of the gachas I've played didn't have a dorm system. And the ones that did used chibi models. Besides they didn't confirm we would get that, just that they like the idea and are considering adding it.

I got outfit Haru's Ass in a heartbeat , I really hope they bring back some of English VA for new characters, since game is definitely more livelier hopefully more profit and mine/our wish can come true.
If things continue in this direction the game could definitely slowly become more and more successful. Think of games like Punishing Grey Raven, started small but slowly grew it's audience. Hopefully one day the English VA will return. I'll definitely try to spread the good word lol

As long as Snowbreak remains niche but profitable enough to keep the lights on, I think they'll be fine. The crackdown on fan service usually happens when a game/developer becomes relatively popular, like Mihoyo for example. But fingers crossed 🤞

For comparison, HI3rd lost a whole set of summer swimsuit outfits because a crazy player reported them.
The CN situation is really weird. A lot of games are mostly fine as long as they don't become to popular. The only reason Mihoyo moved away from obvious fan service is because they became too big, and the government basically forced them. I think a niche studio like seasun will be fine tho.

miHoYo had an incident way before Genshin was a thing.
It was a CN player who bought an outfit for a character, and shortly after then, miHoYo released a NEW outfit for the same character, for everyone, for Free. This made the person so mad, he reported miHoYo.
As the result they were forced to remove many of their previous summer swimsuits too which also not available since then. And ofcourse, that was the start when CN started to bully them for fan service.
Sadly this can be happen with any studio in China.
And I personally see the same potential in Snowbreak what made HI3rd to the game which boosted miHoYo so famous.

Good. I just came back to the game because of Katya and her a$$. And now hearing how the devs want to move forward, I will stick with the game, that's for sure.

To be honest,
I'm very disappointed in what the devs announced.
It does not have the changes that fix many of Snowbreak's problems, the problems that had shooed away many of it's players.
Majority of the announcements are just essentially making the game more Coomer game. Not fixing the game in significant ways.
The buffs for Katya only? Many others operatives need a buff, especially those that are hurting newbies and new player experience.
I get it, that some players enjoy paradox. But it is full of flaws.
The devs never mentioned those, as if they don't understand and are perfectly fine with paradox the way it is.
TLDR, Devs not willing to make major improvements to it, only willing to make small changes.
Not that I dislike the positive changes, but I felt that it won't save the game being just a small title, nor the game lifespan for long period.
Downvote me if you like, what I say is a fact, that those changes are little changes that do not fix the root problems.
