    Something a little new to the channel, let me know how you feel about it!
    Also, I mention the Guns of Urban when talking about the Ottomans, I didn't see this before posting the video but apparently they no longer get the siege ability.. and that's a good thing lol

      2000h played, tried Oirat once after 15 attempts finally conquered ming but my economy and manpower made the game miserable, since then i promised myself to never touch hordes.

    I'd recommend Mali, a few attempts won't hurt with it. It is the first nation ever I played in EU4 (Yes I am that much of an idiot) and I'd say you learn how to manage an active bomb with random rebels and random lose stability events but stab can be regained by conquest around you which you WILL need mercenaries, a LOT of them since you are a ticking bomb and will have to do lots of conquest really fast. Waiting won't do you any good here until you beat the disaster.About economy, f the economy you have lots of gold provinces just develop those rather than taking the diplo tech at the start, normally beginner players don't really take loans so playing this nation may just normalize taking loans in wars also don't think you are going to beat the disaster first try. Do the mission tree fast as it is how you beat the disaster be prepared for the later mission requirements if you don't you will be stuck like my last attempt where I didn't get estate loyalty for a mission from start so Fulo spawned disabling the disaster ending mission until I killed them while rebels stacked higher and higher with my stab gone I changed my mind just played Ottomans right after

      Indian Subcontinent is actually quite difficult to play in because of the total mess of nations, cultures, religions that will slow down your expansion greatly if you value any kind of stability

    • @gamgamesplayer4506
      @gamgamesplayer4506 Před měsícem +2

      @@downtowncoolsville.8958 First argument: Total mess of nations
      Answer: Like if any part of the world was more united than nowadays
      Second argument: Cultures and religions:
      All provinces in india follow the hindu religion, straight up. The muslim powers, however, have an special government reform at tier 1 that gives them a way higher tolerance of heathens. There is 0 problems with stability in India, the main problem you will face are overpowering your neighbors, which, considering you can annex the minors and get stronger than them as any regional power there, is easy.
      India is the best subcontinent of the game if you disconsider individual flavour from nations like in the western europe. Easy to defend after being united, good religious diversity to manage AE easier, great starting nations and power balance, etc. It's probably the region with most straightforward gameplay

      @@gamgamesplayer4506 Bengal is pretty easy. Bahmanis is not by the simple fact that every single province you own in 1444 hates you unless you nerf yourself. Add on top of the giant hugbox that the AI does in India (even more than in Europe) to fight the player, and you have a complicated play. Unless you snake, there are times when you can actually be completely surrounded by neighbors in truces for several years.
      Playing on the outskirts of India is great (Bengal in particular). Playing in the interior is a boring slog.

    I like this new sort of content, very well made! More informative/beginner videos in plans soon, or something like top10 most unique/fun nations to play?
    One objection I would have here is Oirat. Its fairly simple to play for intermediate players, but considering everything I wouldnt recommend it for a beginner, first Ming war doesnt always go as planned unless you already have some experience. For Horde starters Id personally would recommend either something like Kazan with Gold mine, much easier time with economy, learning terrain advantage in wars with Muscovy and easier time with Alliances because of being Sunni, or Jianzhou which has free early feudalism, much easier expansion and can implode Ming by simply uniting into Manchu.

    You should make an AI only game where you just take the main colonisers (Portugal, Castile, France and England) out of the game in 1444 and watch who’ll take their place.

    For me, I'd rather recommend Malacca to new players. I'd rather teach new player to nations with mechanics that is available regularly to all nations first, and then teach them special nations. 5 nations here have their own specific mechanic, events, mission trees that can overwhelm new players imo.
    I choose Malacca because its a very powerful nation in SEA region, and can go whatever you choose, either military, trade, colonial, or all of them. The mission tree is generic, so new players can do whatever they want to. (Mission tree can either be guide or restriction to players, depending on their view, but tbh imo most new players want to see their nation wide, that is how most people view "strong" nation even irl anyway)

    because you can simply stay in the british island and no country can invade your island easily
