I have to wonder if it would take a woman in their lives having a life-threatening crisis before they listen.
Yes and that's not guaranteed either.
They assume it's a given that care that is needed will be provided. Literally that it's not an abortion if it's needed. And they are incredibly naive to the dangers of pregnancy and childbirth. The right-wing propaganda is strong.
Considering there has already been women with life threatening conditions already in the last couple years now, I don't know. It doesn't seem like they care enough to listen.

I am a European and I am very sorry to see America drowning in this way every day. Your only hope for saving your democracy is next November. Also, I suggest you think carefully about depoliticizing the presidential nomination of the SCOUTS. Instead of making presidential appointments, make it an automatic career progression, based on the merit and impartiality proven by the candidates' judicial career and life. Judges linked to or affiliated to political parties should be automatically disqualified from appointment. Good luck next November.
