    DISCLAIMER:
Jazza posted a response on someone else'a comment, he and Tash had previously discussed how much hair he could get, the scene of him cutting it off was solely meant as a comedy bit. Neither the horse, nor Tash's dignity or wallet were harmes in the making of the scene.
The outpouring of care for the horse is very heartwarming, but I'm putting this here so everyone knows that it's all alright.
    Have a great day, you!

Lani Louise Horse hair grows back so quick! The horse was not injured. You can relax, there’s no need to be upset how much he cut. Even if he cut it all off it will still grow back. Horse hair is also used in many wigs. That right there should give you an idea how much you can cut off a horse.

Nah, funnily enough horse hair (usually called pony, camel, or just "natural bristle" brushes) is primarily used for inexpensive brushes that children or beginners use. It can be used alone or blended with other "inferior" animal hair, like boar, goat, and ox. In the hierarchy of natural hair brushes, horse hair is low. Badger, squirrel, and sable (a mink-like animal) are the more expensive hairs used in brushes, with specific types of sable being very expensive and desirable.

It's all planned before the event of recording, which means in simple terms > Hair cut > was > agreed upon > before > time > of recording > shocked pikachu face. Hence the words "collab", he has collabed with most probably an exceptional trainer who is passionate about what they love to do. And it was a sweet gesture of him to give such a beautiful present in return.

How about, instead of complaining that your precious CZcamsr is getting criticism for his actions, we stop trying to validate everything someone does and say “yeah maybe he should have put a disclaimer”, rather than insisting to the CZcams gods that a creator couldn’t have made a mistake, and everyone ELSE needs to accept everything when he could have handled something like this way better.

To make a brush using real hair:
    1) Age the Hair. What this is, is you take the hair, and leave it out to dry from the oils in the hair.
    2) Condition the Hair. After drying out the natural oils through Aging, you need to wash and re-condition the hair. If you need to straighten the hair, do that after the wash and before the Conditioning. Mink or Civet oil works the best, Avocado and Sunflower oil can also work.
By Aging and Conditioning the hair, you end up with a softer feel, making the hair easier to work with as a brush.
    3) Separate thinner strands from thicker strands. Use gently, sandpaper on tips to tapper.
    4) Use thicker strands to form the base rigid parts of the brush, and the thinner strands to form the taper, using the finest hairs to form the tips.
    5) Pre-shape in the housing you will crimp to.
    6) The tricky part: Turning the strands of hair to manage their natural directions into the form of the brush you wish to make. This ensures the longevity of the shape of your brush.
    7) The best part: You don't cut the usable side of the brush, you pull and push the strands, cutting from the non-usable side only.
    8) Use a good crimping tool, and not pliers.
NOTE: different brush shapes will have differing additive steps to these.

And on the other hand, you don't need to know how to make some things to enjoy them and be able to apply criticism (The whole point of critics is they are people that are skilled in perceiving what is right or wrong in a creation rather than being able to take manual part in the creative process)
Jazza is a thoroughfully skilled individual, and he's shown great skills testing some things for the first time. But he's human and prone to actually fail from time to time.

Horse hair now is usually used for things which are handmade by a handful of professionals who all want to one up each other with better quality goods. So buying hair from well known stallions or from certain breeds already known for their hair, like Friesians, plus the owners of those horses not being willing to let the hair go for little can drive up the price.

Watching you talk about the value of horse hair brought me back to my violin days, because if you wanted a really nice bow the best bows for violins we’re actually made from horse hair and violin bows for a full size violin is like 32 inches long and cost anywhere from $800-$8000 depending on the quality of the horse hair. Which is so crazy because a good bow can cost $8000 plus a good violin can cost $8000 or higher if you want a professional one. It’s crazy! But you really do have to pay if you want a truly beautiful instrument.

I actually really love the artwork. I really feel like you captured the essence of the wavy Friesian hair quite beautifully... and I'm not the biggest fan of abstract to begin with (says the girl who HAD to have a Vinn Wong: Euphoria print right beside her bed... where she is literally stuck all day every day XD. And yes his stuff is abstract, but it's a rainbow and its GORGEOUS and he's so good and an absolutely beautiful human being... digress.)
But yeah, I think it actually looks really awesome and I really feel you captured him quite well. I tried to make a human hair, mini paintbrush out of a toothpick and my own hair. It doesn't work either lol. It was just so hard to shape the thing, and as absorbent as my hair is in the shower, it didn't work quite as well on such a small scale. Perhaps I'll try again with something ch0nkier.
