Van Morrision is my absolute favourite artist. He is amazing. He is a musical genius and also an amazing poet.
I totally agree with you! How many decades of greatness? He is my favorite also.
Couldn't have said it better. He's absolutely amazing.
My brother played in his band for about seven years, went all over the world with Van.
Seen him 2018 and 2019 with Willie Nelson in Hershey PA. Hope he comes back this year. Tickets are available when he comes. Check them out.
Have you ever watched the movie "Harold and Maude"?
The soundtrack is all VM - and the movie is pure quirky 70's perfection.
Van Morrison is not just a great vocalist, but musician, writer, and producer. This is my favorite song of all time. Thanks for reviewing it!
Damn, my generation had the best music. Peaceful, happy, warm music. ❤️✌️💕
It's called "storytelling ", something lost in today's music. This is why we folks from the 60's and 70's love to see this generation fall in love with our music.
Preach on sister!!
My Dad asked us to play this at his funeral.. We did ❤
💓
❤️
Your pop had taste..rip
Many people have said the same thing!!!--It is so universal in love and in death !!!
My Dad was Navy and lived on his boat after my mother died. This song always makes me think of him.
Van Morrisson. We told you. Magic voice. He is always telling a story in every song. He is always surrounded with smooth musicians. Listen to In The Garden or Have I told you lately that I love you. Van Morrisson and Sade are the smoothest you’ll find. They are the King and Queen of smooth
In The Garden. So beautiful
👍💚💨
I made a mix of Van and Sade, it's my light the candles, pour a glass of wine and relax music. They are indeed the King and Queen of smooth.
You have to have a beautiful soul - to be able to appreciate his words and this song.
Back when albums were the thing, side A of "Moondance" was one of the best sides in all of rock music - "And It Stoned Me", "Moondance", "Crazy Love", "Caravan", and "Into The Mystic" ---- Great album. Great song.
Love Moondance.
Yes, that is a great side, and side B is good too.
Whole album. Just randomly pick a song to do, basically.
MOONDANCE! My favorite!
Moondance is my favorite!!
Van Morrison is such a poet as well as a songwriter and musician. He wrote this as well. Of course, Moondance and Brown Eyed Girl are his most famous, but I like this song and “Jackie Wilson Said”.
Yes absolutely Moondance and Brown Eyed Girl! Thanks for sharing!
"Jackie Wilson Said" is my FAV VM song.
And "Cleaning Windows".
Yes, Moon Dance and Brown Eyed Girl. Moon Dance tickles the ivory with a touch of jazz and Brown Eyed Girl is a fun memory looking back to younger years with a beast friend /girl friend. 💜✌️
Madame George and Cypress Avenue
Van Morisson absolutely takes you INTO the mystic...love the vibe
The great great Van Morrison !! Just like in the days of old !!! Love you Van , always ❤ ♥ 💙
I love it when my brothers and sisters understand the joyful soul of the incredible Van Morrison.
Van Morrison is a legend you will understand when you hear Tupelo honey, or caravan, or moon dance , or the healing game,
I went to Belfast in the early 90s and there he was - Van Morrison having a coffee. It was great. He was hanging out like an everyday person.
😲💜🤗💜🏵️
so jealous
Madame George is iconic....And one of his first hits way back in the days of old......
@@kieransavage3835 I know. I'm from that era.
Leave well alone😂
Someone like you..
It was just a dream..
Van Morrison ❤ everything he sings is Beautiful
I visited a dear friend in West London in the 70s. Later, during the evening, she put this on. That moment is frozen in time for me. I was stunned.
one of the best concerts I have ever seen... pitch perfect, tight band... pure magic.
Van Morrison is awesome singer, songwriter, and poet. He is a classic.
One of the greatest songs of all time. Not just by Van Morrison, but by anyone.
What a beautiful song for Sunday night chilling 🤍
"Van Morison - In the garden" is one of the most beautiful songs ever, you have to check it out!!!
We all bow to Van Morrison. Pure genius. Spiritual
I've recommended this song to so many CZcams reactors over the last 1-1/2 years, and I don't think 1 has done it. I'd recommend "Tupelo Honey" if you want to do another Van Morrison song.
Into The Mystic is such a cool song! I've always loved the sound of it and the excellent feel the whole band brings, and of course VM's perfect vocal.
I love all his songs. He's a genius.
Can’t go wrong with Van Morrison!❤️
Always happy when people appreciate this song.
His nickname among fans and peers is Van The Man.
On this tune he was 24 years old. This entire album and basically from 1968-1974 he was one of the most prolifically brilliant song craftsman, musician and of course amazing vocalists in the world.
Lastly now, at almost a75 years young. He is still killin' it. He still releases new music.
Awesome transcendent and..LEGENDARY!!!
Van “the man” Morrison try “Tupelo honey” and “caravan “ please
My same faves Love watching this young man get into the good stuff
❤️ Tupelo Honey
Tupelo Honey! Oh Yeah!
seconding Caravan
"Caravan," but the It's Too Late to Stop Now live version
One of my favorite songs of all time.
Van comes from my home city, Belfast. I love his song "Daring Night".
The album "Avalon Sunset" is incredible.
Music Man I’m also from Belfast, my brother and his friends followed Van and his band ‘Them’ before they were famous, Thursday nights in Sammy Huston’s Jazz Club on Gt Victoria Street!
@@catherinemccullough299 Wow - I loved Them too, though never got to see them live... Gloria, Baby Please Don't Go, Here Comes the Night, and especially, that incredible cover of Bob Dylans' It's All over Now Baby Blue... all had that certain Them/Van magic about them; so full of goodness!
His version of Back Home In Derry is everything.
The definition of a fantabulous, beautiful song
He got me hooked when he was with the band "Them". The song "Gloria" was it for me.
I had no idea but I hear is voice in that song now !
Van the Man is always a treat. Great reaction!
They are called singer songwriter! Van is the man!
Just so you know-you won't get tired of this song. I can put this song on repeat and only stop because life gets in the way.
Vans back catalogue is immense, he's one of the all time great singer songwriters. I'd recommend Sweet Thing, Astral Weeks, Tupelo Honey and Hungry For Your Love to check out next
Maybe the most prolific song writer of my generation. So much talent!!
Everything he does is so beautifully crafted, the musicianship behind his awesome vocals is always beyond perfect.
The second you said wow. You became a Van fan.
Brown Eyed Girl, Crazy Love,
Van Morrison one of the best ever ❣️
So Over Looked !!!
This entire album is PERFECT. Front to back nearly every Sunday morning 'round here.
" I want to rock your gypsy soul" is the very best lyric ever written.
VM is one of my favourite blues artists. He has a a folksy kind of groove to his style.
Yay! My favorite song!!!! HE JUST WANTS TO ROCK HER GYPSY SOUL!!!!!!!
I was in Ireland looking out at the ocean and felt "wow this is what Van Morrison was looking at when he wrote "Into the Mystic"!!! MAGICAL!!
Van Morrison is awesome; been around for a long time.
When Van hit that note your face was priceless. Looked like the guy in the meme with all the question marks.
😁
One of the best. Great Irish artist.
❤❤❤❤my favorite song of his.
The philosophers stone.... Van Morrison
Will change your life.
"And suddenly we were born... into the mystic."
One and all
Van Morrison turns a single note into a dozen. Unreal.
Van !!! Phewww... Can't forget that voice.
Probably my favorite Van Morrison song. It always draws me in, but then I'm a sucker for anything vaguely related to spirit.
His album Astral Weeks is all about spirit. Van is a mystic.
Every day we wake up is a day that somebody else doesn't live to see. Always be thankful for what you have...Thanks for bringing us all together through music
All the reactors make the same face when they first hear VAN!!!!!!!! So funny.
My two favorite songs of all time are Into the Mystic and Otis Redding Dreams to Remember. They just feed my soul.
Put some cans on shut your eyes and listen to Van Morrisons Madam George from start to finish. Van is without doubt one of the most underated under celebrated musicians in the World. He makes magical music that takes you to magic places
I just heard Into the Mystic for the first time 3 weeks ago. I instantly fell in love with it. Where has this song been all my life??
His voice has been described as having an "angelic knot in his throat"
Astral Weeks, one of the greatest albums ever. Every song is excellent!!
Keep up the great reviews with your open mind.
My favorite album of all time. When I was a kid I used to play it non-stop and wore out many LPs. Since it was released I've listened to it at least once a week for 50 years.
My all-time favorite song! He was truly a poet! These Are the Days is a beautiful song as well!
Songs were timed so they could be played on the radio. A rare long radio song was Don McLean's "American Pie"
Or Hey Jude by the Beatles and Layla by Eric Clapton are long songs. They're all good. : )
Oh, I love this song, and Van Morrison! I love watching you enjoy it. This is a good rabbit hole. 💜
Love love live this song! My favorite Van Morrison song! Love Moon Dance too!
Love Van the Man! There are so many absolute classics to choose from. Another good one to start with, is "Someone Like You". Just beautiful...
Javaughn, you are so articulate, sincere and well-spoken, I just love your reaction videos. You're all heart, and a gift to hear. Thank you ❤
Van Morrison has a lot of classics.. This is one of my favorites by him.
You just have to call him “Van The Man” and fans of good music will know who you mean. 😀
❤One of my top 5 songs of ALL TIME!☺Thx for lifting our spirits~
Van the Man...you just started down the rabbit hole of this great artist...much more to come! He’s a great writer, and performer! I knew you would love him!
"Rainy Night in Georgia" by Brook Benton is another song I love!
"Sweet Thing" is my favourite!
discovered this song while trying to find a song to play on my son's father's memorial video. I heard this song and It was so so powerful. i will forever love this song.
Van the Man! Saw him play about 20yrs ago here in ireland. Amazing artist with so much soul.
Van Morrison is one of the best singer/songwriters of all time, and I'm glad you picked this one to listen to first because it's my favorite song of his. Back in the days before digital downloading, I went out and bought Van's entire boxed set just so I could get this song!
Me too 😊
You are killing it with your reactions!! Great songs every day! 💕
Beautiful song, definitely one of my favorites of Van the Man. It does leave you wanting it to go on a little longer ❤. He has many many more beautiful songs ❤❤❤❤❤
"I want to rock your gypsy soul" sung with such feeling and intensity - not to mention, wrote the song, arranged, played guitar and sax -- an amazing artist !
This is my all time favorite of Morrison....takes me to another place..
I discovered Van about 10 years ago. Fabulous artist.
Love van Morrison, been listening to his music for a long time.
This is my favorite Van Morrison song of all time, and that's saying a lot because he has so many amazing tunes. I love the instrumentation of this song. Sometimes I listen to it and just follow one musician through the whole piece and just go on that journey with him..
Van Morrison is one of my favorite artists. I love his voice oozing his smooth Irish soul(love this man). His voice moves me for sure- just beautiful. So many great songs:”Tupelo Honey”, “And it Stoned Me”, Days like this”, “Domino”, “Crazy Love”...
Van Morriston wow. Brown eyed girl so nice to hear this again pukka Jay. 😊😊
This is one of my favorite artists and one of his best songs!! Check out "Tupelo Honey", "Bright Side of the Road", "Days Like This" and "Why Must I Always Explain".....thank you!! Just love it!! xoxoxo
Never heard this song before but I do love his voice ❤
Brightside of the road is one of my favourites
"Into the Mystic" -- one of the finest among the finest of songs, right down to those spot on horn flourishes. The entire Moondance album is filled with classics. When you can check out "Glad Tidings" or "These Dreams of You" or expand out towards "Astral Weeks" or "The Way Young Lovers Do" from his earlier catalog.
One of my favorite artists from that time. Moondance, Tupelo Honey, and many more. Thanks for doing this. He was a poet for sure🎶✌️‼️
He is the BEST. I listen to this song every day.. Stay Safe.. 🙏🌷 thanks for checking it out 😉✌️🎶🎶🎶
Not sure if you have done "Brown Eyed Girl " by Van but if not its a must! Keep on Rockin
One of his BEST songs for sure
Not even Van Morrison likes Brown Eyed Girl. It's overplayed kitschy pop - he has hundreds of better songs.
Moondance and Brown Eyed Girl are incredibly overplayed. Play anything else but those tunes.
Another level of life has opened up to you, now that you been exposed to Van Morrison. A perfect artist who creates a spiritual experience.
He has amazing songs...philosophers stone, sweet thing, moondance, and so many more.
This had to be my favorite Van Morrison song . Happy Sunday
Can't go wrong with any of his music.
Vann Morrisons great! Please check out his "Tupelo Honey" and "Days Like This," Love your channel, by the way
Van is the man. No question about it. I just finished downloading my entire CD collection and Van came in #1 with 54 albums. He's the one person/band that I buy his album the day it comes out. I've never been disappointed.
👏👏👏 makes you want to close your eyes and just feel the medley. 😌
Leave it to you, bro, to come up with the best song of one of the greatest solo artists of all time. Van Morrison has a discography that is unequaled in the annals of the rock era. Check out songs like "brown Eyed Girl", "Tupelo Honey", "Redwood Tree" and "Wild Nights" just for starters. You may be a young guy of the present day, but your heart and soul is right out of the 60s and 70s, which is a very good thing
I have my dad to thank for my love of Van Morrison this is in my top 10 songs of all time. I have one of the lyrics tattooed on my collar bone in memory of my darling dad
Van Morrison IS WHAT today's generations calls everyone who isn't..HE IS ICONIC AND IS AN ICON!!!
