Van Morrison is an Irish poet. I get that same feeling of expansion in my spirit every time I listen to it!
Isn’t it a shame that you can only hear this song for the first time just once? A rare gift. Beautiful soul.
so true.........you can watch others hear for the first time comes close
Been my favorite song since my teenage years, in the 70’s, sitting on the beach, at night, with good friends and a bonfire burning
Oh how I miss those days with young life and little cares.High school in the early 1970s….what a dream gone by.
This will be played at my funeral.Life is mysterious and so is leaving it.Into the Mystic.
Van at his best...............a truly beautiful song
My absolute favorite song by him. Love everything about it. The bass, the vocals and that haunting sax. Song is way too short
Van Morrison "moondance" is really worth a reaction 😊
Van Morrison has such a HUGE library of music. Thank you for scratching the surface with this one. If you ever come back to him, please consider "Oh, the Warm Feeling". Love you two! ✌🏻
Van Morrison is the real deal for sure. SO many great songs to hear. Thank you for sharing this one. 🙂
Van Morrison: "Tupelo Honey", "Caravan", "Someone Like You", "Moondance", "Brown-Eye Girl", "Crazy love" and a huge favorite, "Wavelength" so, so many more great Morrison songs!
'Someone like You' is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL Van Morrison Song❤❤❤
Aw, such a great song. One of my favorite. Another good one is Tupelo Honey. Great reaction!
I have always felt something like this: Foghorn blowing = Coming of time, maybe death, and you do not fear it, you are in the mystic and understand, you have come home, you are floating with cypsy soul
So many great songs by this artist; I have loved this song for decades. It just settles in your soul.
I've been a Van Morrison fan since 1967, his catalog is huge. One of my favorites is Redwood Tree, it tells a wonderful story about a boy and his dog.
I love this artist, just love him. He's so creative and soulful. Huge artist.
Love love love this song. Even after listening to it for all these years i still feel the tension slowly melt from my body every time i hear it
Van Morrison is good stuff. 💥💥💥👍😎
Definitely one of my all time favourites
Even as a teenager, this song touched me and triggered something in me, even though I was listening to completely different music at the time. Many of his songs are too short on the audio albums; You have to see and hear Van Morrison live, then they become masterpieces with the transitions. Live videos last 5-9 minutes. In 2018 he interpreted it on the guitar almost alone, still brilliant in his own way at his age. All the best, good health Van!!!
WOW!!❤👍✌️❤️
This is my favourite Van Morrison song … it’s an amazing song. Can be both happy and sad both at the same time. Loved your reaction 💜
By far and away my favorite song by Van.
Van the Man! Genius! Iconic! 😎❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
One of my favorite parts of this song is when there are two saxophones playing in harmony. Usually you only get one saxophone but the two together is beautiful.
One of my favorite songs. I interpreted this song as a time of passing away and going home into the mystic. Beautiful lyrics and music. Love you two lovebirds!
Out of a large catalog of great songs, this has always been my favorite from Van the Man.
One of my life long favorites..
VAN THE MAN😎
With this song, you was beautiful like this is! The charm of the poetry expressed by Mr Morisson have been quite nice, and you too, dear 2 reactors.
Your souls look like all the sens of this song.
Merci, Daniel
Nice reaction to Van Morrison's "Into the Mystic". He was living in Boston, where he recorded "Aistral Weeks" album and wrote this inspired by Boston's Mystic River.
I've always loved this one.
Soooooo many greats from this man.
LOVE Van Morrison, and I knew his poetic soul would resonate with you two. His album Astral Weeks is my favorite!
LOVE Van Morrison! One of the finest exports Ireland ever shared with the rest of the world. Into The Mystic and Moondance are my favorites.
Once again..another great pick for reaction folks. Always enjoyed Van Morrison's vocals on all the tunes he's done. Fabulous pick...great reaction
The rewind was totally the right call 👍😁
The music, the lyrics and Van's voice just meld into the perfect expression of how music should make you feel.
I've always loved this song.
Van the man!
You know it's a great song when you both said nobody at the end, you don't want it to end
That's your spirits soaring my wonderful friends ❤️ 💕
One of the trinity of "Storytellers"... Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Van Morrison !!
Isnt that just a perfect soul voice🤘❤️van is a treasure to the world to enjoy
AWWWWW - I LOVE THIS SONG!!! I always told my late husband, when we first got together, that I wanted someone to FEEL the way the man feels about his woman in Van's other song: Tupelo Honey...and, he not only fulfilled that wish - HE TOPPED IT! I miss him, so!! This is another favorite of mine (Into The Mystic) by Van Morrison - SO GREAT!!! SUCH a VIBE!!! ...and, another favorite: MOONDANCE!!! LOVE VAN!! Enjoy, Ya'll!!
Great reaction! I think you would love "Everything I Do Reminds Me of You," "When the Leaves Come Falling Down," and "Beauty of the Days Gone By" - all fabulous songs by Van Morrison.
First time seeing y'all & I just have to say that you can see the love y'all have for each other it is awesome
Van is amazing, lovely reaction, spot on the lift.

He is an amazing composer and musician...one of a kind.
i did enjoy this tune. we dance we love. our time in embrace. mystic so we are thought of.
A true Legend!!!!
I love your reactions! Your perspectives, your honesty! It’s a beautiful thing!
The Mystic river flows from the Lower Mystic Lake and travels through East Boston, Chelsea, Charlestown, Everett, Medford, Somerville, and Arlington to Boston.
He was living on Green Street in Cambridge around that time. I'd see him now and then, he was usually drunk or hungover.
This song is on another level
My favorite Van Morrison song.
I loved your reaction to this great old classic. 💖
A perfectly well-crafted song, in all facets.
Beautiful song, one of my favorite songs 💖
Saw VM in my home town Gloucester in 1993/94...he was miserable, disengaged that night...went off one of my heroes. In hindsight, he's just one of them great miserable buggers.
Van doesn't just sing the music - he feels it. Loved your review -you guys really get it. So good to see
Loved the ecstatic look on your faces!
There are only great songs on the Moondance album, no filler.
This song makes me feel, i love it so much. Nice reaction guys ❤
**Beautiful**
LOVE YOU TWO!!
Great reaction. I love this song, as well.
Van the man is always great my heart is full to see your doing what you are needed to do bless be
My absolute favorite Van Morrison tune
Van Morrison's music creates new pathways in our brains, taking us to new realms that cry out to be explored. "ASTRAL WEEKS", is his early masterpiece, both the song and the album and it is rated one of the best albums of 20th Century music. Truly, he takes us into the mystic.
What a joyful experience!❤️🏴
It's fun listening to music with you guys.
A masterpiece from Van the Man!!
Van is perfect And fantastic music, he always has good players with him
Beautiful....goosebumps :)
Thank you both. That was enjoyable.
Van Morrison often left his lyrics open for your own personal interpretation. I feel it is a life journey song. The fog horn representing the call to go home (death). "I don't have to fear it"!
One of the best from one of best.
Her smile is Intoxicating don’t worry honey get you grove on…😀❤️😃😘
So, so moving.
This song has a strong spiritual meaning like other Van Morrison songs. This is my favorite song of his, although it is too short.
Its about a spiritual journey. Little bit of love song too. I LOVE The Man! You are right, the song ends too soon, good resson to listen to the whole album!
Our wedding song. 25 years, seems like yesterday.😊
Tupelo honey, domino, astral weeks, autumn song are just a smidgeon of all his songs to listen to
It's about South Louisiana, most of our men work on the river (tugboats) that escort ships through the Mississippi River to dock, they work offshore, they go out on shrimping/fishing boats and much more. The significance of the foghorn is blown to let everyone know they are almost to dock. Y'all have a beautiful, blessed weekend✌️✌️✌️
@@leannmiller7153 Hmm, he as CCR had an affinity and loved NOLA and down the bayou. If you don't know that, it's irrelevant to me, specifically since I am from NOLA. Also, both have been long time performers at the Jazz Festival and loved the French/Cajun because we aren't like ANYONE in the USA. Although, your opinion is whatever, yet meaningless to me, cher. So, laissez les bon temps rouler⚜️ Your reply should be, oui cher⚜️⚜️🇺🇲🇺🇲✌️✌️
If I close my eyes while listening to this I feel as if I'm floating.
Massive. Where to start? Try "Caravan" live from the movie "The Last Waltz". Or "Ballerina" from Astral Weeks. Or "Jackie Wilson Said (I'm in heaven when you smile)" from Saint Dominics Preview. Or Moondance. Or "Bright Side of the Road". Or "Just Like Greta". Or "The Daring Night". Or "Celtic Swing", which is an instrumental where Van plays the saxophone. That's just to get you started.
Watching the two of you makes me so happy!
So glad to hear that 🙂💚
There is a live version of this that you will LOVE!
His live versions are longer and even better...the album 'Too Late to Stop Now'. Fantastic recording.
Tupelo Honey. Only if your souls can handle it. stone cold classic.
"Tupelo Honey" was another hit for Van the man.
I want this played at my funeral.
I think it's about the journey we take after death.
all time classic! ♥
The album MOONDANCE (Into the mystiq is one of the tracks) is a masterpiece and its side A was considered the best ever recorded ... this album is incredible!
My favorite song!
Excellent reaction!
The mystic River flows into Boston harbor and is the location of old shipbuilders. To me it represents a man coming home to his girl after a long time at sea. Imo the most romantic song ever
The mystic river is in the north east coast of the United States. The song is about a sailor coming home
Van at his peak of brillince. His catalogue of recordings during this era was second to none. I'd love to see your reaction to "And It Stoned Me."
When your beautiful wife went back to hear that last part..That she loved when she smiled and bit her 🫦 it was Aussum 😘
Although it's hard to choose a favorite Vsn Morrison song, Into the Mystic is surely near the top with Moondance, Caravan, and a fun one, Wild Night!
Can see you guy's loved that. As did I.
