Lisa was such a strong player! Would've loved to see her go against Alice Conkright in tournament play.
Not sure if Lisa Munoz was invited to the International Tournament in 1987 on NBC Daytime.
And crush her.
Go Roseanne, go! 🤩
THANK GOD I WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO THOUGHT THAT SHE LOOKED LIKE ROSEANNE BARR-ARNOLD!
LOL!
buzzr is doing very well im proud
I'll standby until 10:30pm
Oh, we're doing this on Black Friday, eh? Well done Buzzr, you sly foxes.
In the last game, she buys no sales surprises because she's afraid she might lose. She wins by $100.
She pulled an Alice Conkwright on that episode
@Brandon Bennetzen You are exactly right! With two Pontiac Fieros, pool table, Hawaii trip, $13,000 in cash and 5 other prizes at stake, i would not have bought any instant bargains either.
@@UrsusTheodorusdoesGameShows But then again, no champion would want to buy any Instant Bargains when they are playing one more main game to add that $50,000 Cash Jackpot.
@PGTransformed only exception I can see is when instant cash comes up and they only have a lead of less than 1 question, a $1-$4 lead won't help you, might as well go for it.
@marcpower4167 Lisa Munoz's big win start the second to final week of the syndicated run, which may explain why Instant Cash was never on the syndicated run. Plus, I think that was when Instant Cash started on the NBC Daytime show.
This was the same cars and backdrop for when Curtis Warren was in this same decision situation as Lisa Munoz was here. WOW! WHAT A COINCIDENCE!!! @13:17 Summer Bartholomew's homage to Vanna White.
Summer had done some substitute work on "Wheel of Fortune" back in the day.
@@Tubewings Yep, along with future Scrabble host Chuck Woolery. But I do believe she also tried out for after Susan Stafford left the show.
@@Tubewings At that time, Sale of The Century was following the footsteps of Wheel of Fortune with their Syndicated version seen here.
@@PGTransformed She also subbed for Susan due to injuries sustained in 1977 and 1979.
@@Tubewings And both Vanna and Summer were the subjects of a Fame Game Question in 1988!
So she got the 1 BMW instead of 2 Fieros. Lucky for her she won when they started a new week & changed the cars. I had a Fiero, only because I was sick of my friends piling in my car & never giving me gas money but I bet a woman with a new baby didn't need a tiny death trap with only 2 seats.
How much does the squirrel cost, and anyone would be nuts to buy it! 😅
She remind of we watch Roseanne Conner tv ahow lol
Great win! I wish they adapted the Australian rule each time someone was at the winners board.
Now known as Lisa Clark Madsen.
For real?
$3000 cash seemed a bit odd as a small cash prize on the WB, maybe $2500 or $5000 sounded better
It's very exciting when someone plays the all-or-nothing 11th game for $50,000.
Was this syndicated or daytime
Syndicated
14:00 - I think they were a bit premature with the balloons simply for Lisa choosing to come back - what if she didn't win the next night?
In Australia, the streamers didn't happen until they either won the lot or decided to leave with a lot.
The balloons were dropped because she won the cars. Anytime a contestant won the car, $10,000, or the whole lot, the balloons were dropped.
@@UrsusTheodorusdoesGameShows Sometimes they dropped the balloons when the player cleared all 10 prizes off the Winners Board.
So did they have to pay taxes on the cars
this show was taped on my 11th bday:) and I was born in hawaii.:)
I hope that Buzzr can show when a contestant named Rani White who won over $100,000 playing the winners big money game.
If they ever have access to those Early 1988 episodes. I did not had cable in the '90s, But USA never aired any episodes of NBC Daytime Sale of the Century episodes, prior to Summer 1988.
Did any $OTC contestants lose all 10 prizes off the Winner’s Board after losing in the Speed Round?
Not to my knowledge, the closest to do that was Mark DeCarlo.
@@foxmccloud7055 I knew that. Deborah came so close to spoil Mark's bid to win $50,000, but she lost $5 for a wrong answer in a tiebreaker.
She looks like Roseanne Barr in *"She-Devil"* lolol.
I thought it was Roseanne at first lol!
Sale of the century
$1 bills? Lmao someone gonna rob her if there hundreds. 😂😂
$500 on the first instant bargain... someone must be going for the ultimate cash bonus.
Jim Perry did that every time someone was going for THE LOT.
this woman is LASER FOcused
