A good thing about using the swivels on the strap is you could make a crossbody strap too and interchange them. Or even a shorter strap.
A Schmetz needle case makes a great hump jumper!
Just a little advice on top stitching the to of the bag. It is easier to turn the bag wrong side out so you don't have to fight the bag.

Thanks for helping me make this bag. It was a lot easier than having to read the instructions, especially with the add-on packages. I watched your video and could understand the add-ons and make my decision on what to incorporate. Without your video, I probably would still be staring at the files and being utterly confused! Instead, I made a gorgeous bag with the alternate full and half gusset linings. You were my lifesaver!

I would love this bag with the side zipper mods but with a flap and convertible backpack straps. Wonder how hard that would be to do... can’t be that hard.

I just spent the morning watching your video. You did an excellent job teaching and I enjoyed every minute. I have had the pattern for a while and am excited to start. Does the white lining show marks easily? Is is possible to do a sponge wash on it? Where did you buy the lining from? Is the floral cotton or canvas? So many questions. By far one of the best teachers out there and I have watched many of them. Will look for other tutorials. Thanks so much
Awe thank you so much! The white lining is white... so yes it will show dirt etc but does clean nice with a damp cloth. I get it from fabric.com. The floral is a cotton canvas, from Hawthorne Threads but is not offered in the canvas option at the moment. Thank you for watching!!
I see you use a lot of waterproof canvas for your bag linings. They don’t carry that where I live in Alaska. I like the look of the white or lighter colored lining but I’m afraid they will get dirty so I always end up with a cotton colored. How is the waterproof with cleaning? Does it stain?

I think I used one roll that was 13 by 54 plus a little of another
@@SiahSwag thank you. I managed to use one roll by planning to cut half the main exterior in cotton canvas. The recessed zipper pieces also need to be cotton canvas instead of vinyl. I’m done cutting vinyl now, and will cut the rest later today. It’s past midnight here and I need to sleep.

Was going to order the feet but noticed they are 12mm I have a 10mm die in my press so would that mess them up?

But why cut 4 exterior pieces out when u use just 1exterior fabric. I think I'd rather just use the lining pattern to cut out the exterior

Yes I do, but I would suggest doing just rivets on the connectors so it isn’t too thick on the top seam
