    Thank you. About 6 months after I moved into my house my neighbor got a Kangal breed dog which she proceeded to blow a dog whistle to make it bark. All hours of the night. Basically using the dog to harass me and my family. 6 times to court it became apparent she was using the dog to harass us. From constant barking to releasing the dog anytime we were on that side of our house next to hers. Felt so nice to give it back to her. After three years of harassment we now have our own weapon. The harassment has stopped. I of course have tried different things on the other end of that 12 volt relay. So in conclusion Thank you kind Sir

    A pair of Nathan locomotive air chimes would take a half inch inside diameter line, hooked into
    very large air resevoirs for the brakes and electro-mechanical contactors for the traction motors.

    I need your advice. I am not an engineer, but I need to build something like this. For 2 years now my neighbor dogs have driven me insane. Countless hours and sleep lost. The city will do nothing, even after legal complaints (at least 40). These people can't and won't train their dogs. The distance from my house to theirs is about 150 feet max. I want to build something remote and easy to change batteries. My plan is to mount it near their fence where they never maintain the shrubbery. Then, when the dogs bark I plan to train horn them, maybe when they are sleeping to just to instigate my own karma. Please let me know if you have suggestions for that. Thanks. My neighbors are the worst.

    Id put a microphone sensor circuit on it that would repeat every sound it heard and put the mic down low on the fence.. like itd give a wee little poot if the dog barked once but if the dog let out a whole barrararark the horn would do the same.. stuff would be fiunny as hell, put a camera up. Make it immediate so right after a bark itd toot.. guarantee the dog would ho off on it until the thing let out a wollop and itd shut up if the dog had any sense to it at all..
    I had a big basset hound the fence after my neighbors whod bark every time i went out so i just put up a motion detector with one of those owels that move to get rid of birds and hooked it up to solar power so the thing would go off all day and night and so would the dog.. took about a week solid of it before somebody called about it and got the people fined .. lol.. and nobody knew i did anything...

    Three things:
    1) How's it going with the barking?
    2) I could see this being useful to people in remote areas who worry about security. Phone service could always fail for whatever reason. If you had one of these as a back-up, you could tell your far-off neighbors that if they ever hear it they should contact emergency services for you. (E.g. a series of single blasts for police, a series of doubles for fire, triples for ambulance, quads for false alarm/cancel.) Plus all by itself the noise might scare off people potentially threatening you. Even dangerous animals.
    3) Was I really the first person out of 12K to give this a like? Hmm, odd.

    Hi SFS, I would like to purchase a remote horn set just like the one you built. A wireless, remote controlled horn, powered by 12 V, and a charger for the battery

    Is there a way to set this up to run from a power supply that connects to mains power? So that I can avoid the need for a battery pack? And have it constantly powered?

    • @spinalfusionshop
      @spinalfusionshop  Před rokem +1

      yes. it is a 12v DC system. you can buy a run of the mill 12v dc power supply from amazon that plugs into a wall such as www.amazon.com/ALITOVE-Adapter-Converter-100-240V-5-5x2-1mm/dp/B01GEA8PQA

      @@spinalfusionshop well it's not. It's at max 120 dB. That thing isn't anywhere near as loud as a massive ship horn. Biggest ship horns are about 150 dB @ 3ft. No way some plastic horns with 15 psi air pump are louder! 😂

    I'm giving the people behind my house until January 1st to fix the dog barking at 6am, everyday for 2 hours. Then, I am building this. Question, how long does that little compressor last for? I would like to blow it for 30 seconds at a time.
    I will use your amazon links also! Thanks for making this video.
