Well, America didn't let the south "have their freedom" France won't let Corsica "have their freedom" ; Spain won't let Catalunia "have their freedom"; China won't let Hong Kong "have their freedom". As you can see, this happens all over the world. So there is nothing unusual here. Whenever the integrity of a state is threatened by terrorists supported and financed by private interests, its absolutely legitimate for the state to defend itself.
Last I checked, the EU is not a country, therefore you can't compare apples with oranges

@@saintpeterspeters1053 don't know why you are quick to throw insults at others while expresing your ignorance, lack of understanding and stupidity. Well, my comment "no roads how would they fight?" above, exposes in criticism the nature of roads in this part of the country. Like Martin puts it below, they thought by not developing the southern Cameroons, they were keeping the people poor, underdeveloped and powerless. Now the table has turned and its a disadvantage to them. And to answer your question, yes war is faught by car, plane and heavy weapons racing courses. In which world do you live? Ambazonians are gradually taking over control of their motherland. Threy've closed down the Mamfe-Ekock border with Nigeria, imposed lock down in Bali, killed more than two thousands terrorist soldiers of French Cameroun only in this 2021, destroyed hundreds of armoured vehicles, trucks and other military machineries of French Cameroun, burnt down several military barracks, police stations and check points, burnt down the French Cameroun timber company based in Manyu that exploits Ambazonian timbers.......the defeats are uncountable. Thousands of French Cameroun soldiers have deserted and many are still deserting everyday. The downfall upon French Cameroun is endless. They're hiding all their defeats from the international community and the citizens of French Cameroun. But ABC the Amba TV shows everything.
