      You're welcome. You are an amazing source of knowledge not only about juicing, but about gardening as well. My wife is a big fan of Growing Your Greens - there is so much good advice there. Yeah the Santos is really nice - we just got our own in stock (not the demo unit) and it is nice to finally see a slow juicer with stainless steel juicing parts and a variable speed motor. Looking forward to your review of it when it becomes available there.

      The warranty will vary by region. Commercial machines typically have a much shorter warranty - usually 1-2 years - due to their high volume of use. In Europe, the warranty is 5 years on the motor and 1 year on parts. a longer time. Moreover, there is a motor protection. So, if the machine is really
      used to much and overheats, it will simply stop until it cools down,
      but there will be no damage. There is no maximum recommended time, however please note that this machine is not an industrial cold press juicer #65 and is not adapted to people who make cold press juices in bottles with a continuous all-day production.
      It is dedicated to juice bars, restaurants who make cold pressed juice on-demand."

  • @embodymalikazitouni126

    I’m buying a juicer for my soon to be open restaurant. I’m hesitated with the Miracle 68 and this one. I know this one is better nutritionally but I’m not sure if it will be fast enough to make a juice for customers... Any thoughts?

    • @euJUICERScom
      @euJUICERScom  Před 6 lety +3

      It depends on how much juice you plan to serve, the produce you plan to juice, and if you plan to make some juice beforehand. The Miracle 68 is definitely faster since it is centrifugal, but the juice will need to be served immediately before it oxidizes. Also keep in mind that centrifugal juicers aren't suitable for greens like spinach or kale, but will do fine on citrus. If you are going to make mostly orange juice, the N65 would be overkill since citrus typically has enough ascorbic acid in it that oxidation isn't an issue. With the N65 you can store juice for later without losing much taste or nutrition from most any ingredient. The N65 will make up to 40 liters/hour, which would equate to 120 glasses of juice (330 ml). The N65 is definitely the fastest cold-press juicer out there, especially when considering how easy to operate and clean it is. On the other hand, it is quite a large investment compared to a centrifugal. I hope that helps :)

    • @euJUICERScom
      @euJUICERScom  Před 5 lety

      You can slow down the speed of the upper feeding tube. That will allow the auger more time to process the carrots. You can also cut larger carrots into smaller pieces. Mint and spinach and other small leafy greens can get stuck to the side of any feeding tube. If you follow it up with something larger like a piece of carrot or apple it should help push it through.

    I have this machine but it gets regularly stuck, how do you do not to happe?

    • @euJUICERScom
      @euJUICERScom  Před 6 lety +1

      What type of produce is making it get stuck? The most likely would be beets or carrots. You can reduce the upper motor's speed - that will make produce go into the juicer more slowly. I've only managed to get this machine stuck once. I put in some really big carrots at full speed, but the motor automatically reversed and went forward which cleared it.

    • @nobbywhey2726
      @nobbywhey2726 Před 6 lety +2

      it's not the speed that makes it stop but the size the produce gets cut into. Just looking at the Santos, it's a great idea but badly executed. The Santos cuts the produce into larger chunks. That is ALSO a reason for the extreme low yield. I'd not buy this machine, not until those issues have been attended to by Santos's engineers. Perhaps in a few years time. But then, there's enough competition out there. Even the Goodnature table top for about 10K is a Much smarter choice.
      Think about, just 25% more yield, if your turnover is about a $1000 a day, that's $250/day more with a competitor juicer and if that juicer cost 5K more, that's just 20 days of operation to break even on the additional cost. Add afterwards? $$$.

    • @euJUICERScom
      @euJUICERScom  Před 5 lety

      Hi Denis. Most any produce is pretty easy in this machine, including pineapple, because of the large opening and big auger. One nice factor regarding pineapple is that the speed on the feed chute can be slowed down, since pineapple is very fibrous and can back up if juiced too quickly.

    • @euJUICERScom
      @euJUICERScom  Před 5 lety

      You're welcome. There isn't really any juicer which will handle unpeeled fruits besides dedicated citrus juicers. However, most fruits don't need to be peeled except for fruits with thick or tough skin like pineapples, citrus, mango, passionfruit, and kiwi (although my colleague juices kiwi and melon with the skin on, but they are organic). Even a high-end press like the PURE or Norwalk requires ingredients to be ground first which is best without thick skins or rinds.
