It was a shot for the ages.. It is irrelevant which team you was rooting for... It was one of those moments nobody will ever forget. The intensity of that game was huge, and that last shot was one of the most unreal moments that i felt in any sport... I felt all the emotions from the toronto fans, and also from the sixers fans... Those next 30 seconds, i just couldn't even racionalize what was happening.... Great, great series... Sixers lost, but your team played great. Be proud! I will never forget that team. Both teams! (btw.. i'm not a raptor, either)

That Kawhi Leonard shot is still one of the most heartbreaking shots in NBA history and likely denied the Sixers their best title shot seeing how the Warriors broke down physically in the finals.
100% agree. I watched that game live and as soon as the shot bounced in my heart completely sank. I'm used to heartbreak as a Bill's fan though. I feel like both my squads are alway's in contention but just can't get over the hump. It's gotten tiring and has tested my patience as a fan.
And now Al Horford is in the Finals with Robert Williams as his frontcourt tandem.

How Brett Brown departure for Doc Rivers could be an upgrade ? Brown wasnt maybe a great coach, but...
Doc Rivers is the WORST COACH EVER by far in playoff
Clippers are Choke City mainly because of him (proof : they FINALLY reach Conference final their very first year without him, and Tyron Lue is the coach !!!) and the fact that he won a ring and made two finals with the Celtics isnt a proof
Firstly, it's more than a decade ago !!!
Secondly, the Celtics were a superteam, a great coach could win 2 or 3 rings or at least beat the Magic and be a very hard opponent for the first LeBron's Heat

I never understood having a, process. It’s either you’re a good or great player and you are ready, or you’re not that good and you’re not ready. To me, saying that this is a process is just a way out and to backpedal if and when it all goes to shit.

Nerlens Noel played a big role in the Knicks Defense last season and that defense was top 3 in almost every category
I remember so much of this in real time. Thought Bynum was a bum back then before we even got him and I remember going all in on the Sixers when we drafted Noel and hearing hinkie on sports radio while I was back home.
Them trading for Lowry would set them back imo, if you give up maxey and Thybulle for him itll kill them, Lowry should take a team friendly deal to come here so they dont have to blow the team up

Agreed, but if they had Lowry, there is little doubt they win the Hawks series. We'll never know, but watching that poor man's NBA Finals last year made you realize just how much the Sixers might have blown their best chance to break through.

Hi I’m from the future and boy of boy were there some major shockers coming up for this squad.
I am not sure that Hinkie missed on Noels and Okafor. Both Okafor and Noels were good players, but they needed to develop their games and they did not do that.
I am pretty sure that if Hinkie was still on the Sixers when Embiid became healthy, he would have gotten rid of Okafor for other assets quite quickly before Okafor lost his value. I am saying that because this is what he did with MCW.
Hinkie followed a pretty clear script - taking the best prospect, getting rid of him for other assets if he could not develop into a clear superstar or role player.
I am wondering what Hinkie would have done when it became clear that Simmons and Embiid were not the best fit.

I feel like most basketball fans have to know a little bit about The Process. I didn't care much for em until that Ben Simmons thing and ever since I became a fan after finding out what Embiid had to go through being loyal. It's all around him and it isn't over until they win that championship. It's crazy how Al Horford ended up finding his purpose in the Celtics and ending up on the finals, and how James Harden choked on the playoffs this year. It's almost like a novella lol.
This is an accurate and historic remembrance and documentary of the 'Process years and beyond.

Realize that Philly could have had the Jays and Embiid. Imagine Embiid's dominance in the paint paired with Jayson Tatum's shot-creating and Jaylen Brown's hyper-efficient scoring. They would be an unstoppable team that actually has synergy (two spacing wings to take the ball when teams collapse on a dominant big man). Add in Maxey and that's a team that looks set to sweep into the Finals.
