The process of Mari to ZBrush to SP gives a much greater result...SP loses mostly the finest details. But it's still an alternative ;) ...I hope SP will integrate much of displacement ability soon

I might be missing something. But I just add a single user channel to my project, and use that Channel for the original displacement map, and the diffuse Chanel for the diffuse map. I can then Project both of them together. When I’m finished I export my maps and only then seperate the displacement in photoshop. It’s like a 10th of the setup time.

Feel like I am missing something because all of the saved images looked correct but none of the displacement is showing up in the substance. The color is beautiful but there is no physical detail at all. Does substance painter care how much a mess is subdivided before you import it? Or does that matter.

After Projecting the texture, I dont see the displacement even after enabling lambert map
    Anyway to make it show?

Hey, glad you liked the video. I just got the forehead or different parts of the face that I thought worked well for the neck. Can't remember exactly which part I used, but just experiment using different areas of the face

@@3dcharacterart889 thanks for the reply! I tried to do this last night but the displacement ended up being too severe. Suspect my unwrap may need more work or maybe I’m not zoomed in enough. My headed ended up looking like it was dipped in plaster with bumps everywhere 😅
