The heartbeat only scans the initial direction you are facing. It doesn’t scan when rotating. That’s why the enemies seem to disappear.

Nacho! You don’t have to hold triangle to replace armor. Only hold until it begins animation then it will continue until full or you cancel.
How do you cancel on PS4? I’ve died multiple times because I’m stuck in animation.

Nacho they're not disappearing. You're using the sensor wrong. The sensor will only show targets in the direction that you were facing when the scan started. If you start scanning in one direction where there is no target, and then turn around for a 360 scan, it will not work, and the target behind the initial scan area will not appear.
