I used to walk past myrtle hill cemetery, I lived on Etowah terrace in Rome way back in 1979, I was 17 years old(I'm from upstate NY.) My Dad was a missionary with the methodist church and was based in Cedartown near the old Harpst home. I can clearly remember the old steps just off the side walk and the beautiful magnolia blooms of early spring as I walked to work and crossed the river into Rome where I worked at an old gas station.
Our town was established in 1712, Middleburgh, NY. Im a big fan of the old cemetery. Great story 👏
I have never heard that story about Jackson Hill! I moved here in 1983. Woodrow Wilson's wife is buried at Myrtle Hill and one of Rome's founders is buried there. Good stuff! On to the Clock Tower video!
I grew up at the foot of Jackson Hill, on the east side just off of Broad street. My friends and I played all over Jackson Hill, form the Civic center to North Ave. That was in the late 50s. We were aware that there were things like the labyrinth but they were grown over and barely visible. We climbed all over the old water tanks which we called "the old reservoir". My family came to that area in 1912 and I never heard the ghost story. We camped out in the area north of the "new reservoir" all the time and never saw a ghost. You might want to consider the possibility that there is not really a ghost there. I enjoyed the video. Thanks.
I was born in rome
Awesome job thank you!
Coosa Country Club....can't hide money. That's where all the lawyers, Doctors, Insurance Salesmen, Builders belong and they all send their rich kids to Darlington or St.Marys. Great video!!
It's a beautiful area, near Rome. I used to like to go camping in Mentone, at Strickland's Campground, before it turned into an RV park, basically. It's right next to the Cloudmont ski slopes and Saddlehorn Camp.
Little River Canyon and the national park there,
My dad has a lake house in Mentone!
@@EsotericAtlanta I love it there! 💕
I'm just finding your channel! I watch the Peggy's episode and now on this one. Really good stuff! What was your grandfather's last name? Did you go to school here?
My Mom's dad's last name was "Brice." Dr. Boyce Brice. I went to Darlington. :)
Another great haunted story Thank you
There's 7 hills in Virginia....actually in DC alone.

Hi Brice 💕
We live near Huntsville, Alabama and my niece won a scholarship for all four years in high school.
She had an eighth grade teacher who submitted one of her stories into a contest, and she won! 😁
The winner got several nice prizes and she accepted her scholarship to Darlington where she did graduate in, I believe it was about 4 years ago.
Nothing of importance, just a fun connection to the place you were raised. 😁💕
I went to Darlington! 🥰
@@EsotericAtlanta oh wow! 💕
It's a small world! Lol!
That's so crazy! 😁
You're boyfriend is one fortunate man 😋
