I like your tutorial. Thanks. I tried 30 gauge wire that I bought a spool of then I was told by some modelers that it should be 36 gauge. I don’t know for sure which to use
I find 36 gauge looks too stringy. Prob more to scale but at this scale i didn't like how it looked. Plus 30 guage I found is cheap and plentiful.
Thanks buddy✌️
@@cardzscaledreams3917 I totally get what you’re saying. I bought a box with 6 rolls of different color 30 gauge wire on Amazon and it’s ok with me and doesn’t really look bad at all. I’m just gonna ignore the ones that say it should be 36 gauge. Thanks for your help. Keep up the awesome work. 👍
@@PatricksScaleModelShop thanks buddy 👍
👍👍👍
👍👍
Nice video, what glue did you use to hold the wires in the distributor?
CA glue. I use gorilla glue
@@cardzscaledreams3917 ok thanks I'll give it a try.
@@georgetaylor5482 best to drop some glue down on something and use a toothpick to apply it. Gives you more control.
@@cardzscaledreams3917 I really have to try this , I tried one before and the thing broke, it was a store bought one, I'm going to try and make my own, thanks for the tip.
@@georgetaylor5482 glad to help...just make sure not to man handle those wires too much. If one falls out while your adjusting just glue it back into the spot it came out of and let it set.
Ok what size wire is that ??? Please let me know 🙏
30 gauge wrapping wire. Got it from a electronics store
What gauge is the black wire
I'm not sure... it's just craft wire. It almost twice as thick tho. Has to be to fit the red inside.
@@cardzscaledreams3917 I thought I got the same stuff but the black part doesn't come off
@you can't stop me513 ya I got some stuff from the dollar store the other day but it didn't work for the boots either. But it is the right size for heater hoses. I've got a big Tupperware full of wire I've collected over the years.
