Turned out very nice. Was watching today Vice Grip Garage from the US. His Chevelle drag car that he drove 500 miles home looks to be the same colour. It's hot looking too. He's channel is well worth checking out as he gets some classic American Iron running after years of inactivity.

Great job, very impressive! I did the chrome job on ONE model like you did here. Great results but time consuming and very easy to miss covering something or get some leakage under the tape. Doubt I will ever do it again unless its on one of the 1/16 scale kits.

I am super impressed with your build. I just got a 68 Chevelle to build also. Is there a list of paint and glue and stuff you used.

Very nice but so much unnecessary work for the chrome trimmings, Bare Metal Foil is the way to go. For a time they were struggling to get the adhesive just right but they are back in business with a much better product. Just buy direct from them....
Bare metal foil sucks I’ve 5 packs here that are useless so I’ll stick to painting :)
@@InternationalScaleModeller it does have a shelf life so you might as well throw them out but as I said, the new one is much better and no matter how you put it, you just can't beat the look of real metal, paint just can't match it.....

They can be difficult to find search for 3m Trizact 6000 and 8000 make sure they are the ones for paintwork

Yes it’s a different tone of the name hobby colours
