she said "out of a box, I can assemble my bike and I can ride my bike" meaning that the stem would have already been intact
I just hated the, "I don't think I should have lost, she got help and it took longer, I don't know if she can even build a bike out of the box" yea but you would have crashed in the first rock garden or turn, and basically all the help she got was just putting a back wheel in.

Angie's confidence in her build skills would lead to massive injury...while Nicole's ability to ask for help will get her much further should she find herself with a bike in a box across the world. Help is a good thing, ya Joey.

When you're so spoiled that you're "annoyed" that you have to build your free sponsored bike up (even though all the harder stuff like bottom bracket, headset, and bleeding the brakes is already done), basically setting your bike up for yourself and minor assembly.

They skipped the most difficult challenge of MTB: setting up tubeless tires on wheels that are either slightly too large or slightly too small
I lived and rode with Addison when we were 19 and he was racing BMX. He's a good dude and a great rider. Rooting for you buddy.
I never would have though after watching "how to be a Canadian" all those years ago that I would see this man not only being a prominent figure on Pinkbike, but now hosting a reality series. I'm very happy Jason has done so well for himself.

If it wasn't for liability laws, the outcomes would have been alot different if after they had to just hop on and do a downhill run right after the build. That would prove who actually built their bike correctly.
A saying that I heard once from a guy who use to race, "Slow is Fast". Being fast in a build isn't always the best.

Not by any means. This is pretty run of the mill for a production like this.
It hurts to see contestants getting petty and catty about losses. It's so typical of reality tv. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt and believe that it was in response to a direct question from producers, but who knows. I just hope that angle isn't played up too much. Keep stoke in the sport.

That angle is the bread and butter of so-called reality TV.....
Even if it isn't scripted, they make contestants sit for hours in uncomfortable conditions on these shows on purpose to make people irritable.

I have specialized rockhoper 2019 which isn't bad bike but the fork and drivetrain are bad . I think i know a lot of technical thinks about bikes and maintenance of them so i think i could get job in some bike shop but i don't think they are gona take me. Sorry for my english i'm trying my best . ☺️
