I was typing about Cody showing humility in his exit interview until he said “its not fair” and he went back to the petulance.

Honestly, I get the 10psi bit, that is the only excuse I actualy agree with, it's a machanical, and now the front tire is going to be drifting while going up lips and you can't hit corners as hard because the risk it might pop.
I found the excuses for the long jump the worste, I understand, you are scared to ride, but someone who is scared to ride should not go pro when the person next to him is not.
Don't forget he nearly lost a leg the last time he played at long jumps. May Be it just slipped down the back of the sofa with his attitude 😕

I loved Alaina's attitude this episode. Being insulted by Cody in the beginng but hugging him first in the end and still having final reassuring words for him.

Attitude is everything. Fitness, skills and ability don't mean anything without the ability to fight through and overcome obstacles is your own mind. Cody is a perfect example of this. Hopefully you, Cody, will take this as a lesson to work on your attitude and become a better person and rider for it. We look forward to following you through the rest of your journey, post PBA.

It's a pitty that Tori went home earlier, but this is a TV show and they need a bad guy for us to complain in the comments. Hopefully now we can focus on the good boys and girls that are left.

Attitude is not luck. He takes no accountability whatsoever. Sure, it will feel like your up against random odds every time that way but really, it's your own responsibility to see your OWN controllable influence every single time. He just doesn't do that.
Love hearing so much from Emmett and Bradley this episode, I feel like the drama has really overshadowed some steller performances.

Hot dam! The girls really put a very respectable showcase and Kyra has got to be my favourite rider. She's got a big heart and great persona for a sponsored athlete. Hope she goes far. To Pinkbike, Zawada should be featured more! Seems like a great opportunity to hear how the contestants troubleshoot, kinda like what Fox does at the World DH series.

Having Addison back as mechanic has been an awesome addition to season 2.
Cody deserved to go but this shite about looking back at the last events results is Bollox!! Tori had a great event one week and not so good the next and she still got the boot!! Judge on the event at hand and not what has happened before!!
I feel like they did it just to get rid of Cody. We hated hearing him complain for a few minutes each week, imagine what they were going through.

Finaly. He should be dropped few episodes ago.
Bradley and Laura have shown that the competition is not over yet. They both show higher higher commitment in corners and scrubbing fast jumps than Emmett and Flo at the same time being in touch with the fitness. In my experience its easier to step up a bit in fitness than getting faster in corners at least if you are not a complete beginner and not at the top of your potential fitness already.
I actualy think the opposite fortbhe fitness vs skills thing. Especially once you are already a experienced rider. You can improve and learn a new skill in a day, focus on the one skill for a week and you will large improblvements, especially with a coach like they will have. But if you want to improve fitness you will have to train for at least 6 months to be at the higher levels of fitness when it comes to climbing.
Give me a MTB coach and I can improve my cornering in a day, or even just a faster rider to follow. Now five my a gym coach and its still going to take half a year.

Mental fortitude is key. He hasn't shown any. I'm not "happy" he gets the short end of the stick, but he was not up to the competition standard. Skills and strength are a requisite... but having the tools doesnt mean anything if you can't handle them when you go into the workshop. Hope he learns from this, it's only gonna help him in all avenues of life!

Pinkbike needs to rethink this, instead of sending people home just score them on each performance, but then again watching Cody till the end would be damn painful.
This so much, I would love to see Tori on all challenges. Last season Addison is a clear winner for me! But that dude went out early. I think eliminations are not fun, why? Because it's a punish system instead of reward system! Make challenges rewarding, have them do fun stuff, give them partial sponsors, give them something that they will have drive about and us viewers will always be more excited about what's the reward and who's gonna get it!
You can also score downwards. If you have 0 points you go home. Cody lost a lot of challenges and would also be the one who has to leave early.

Guilty pleasure this for sure... Think the Cody elim shows a bigger flaw in this show tho. Elite sport these days is not just skill and talent and social media sellability... It's a very mental thing because of those things and the two bits missing in all of this for me is being taught something as you'd normally get from an "academy" (directly and not passively) and secondly, a sports psychologist on the show to work with the riders given so many elite athletes utilise them as a resource nowadays.... Anyway, two cents given, back to the guilty pleasure!

Regarding Kira, though it does show that she's missing a lot of experience, I believe taking her under the wing of a pro team for a year could turn her into a real threat in pro riding. To quote Christina, her "balls to the wall" approach, combined with a year in which she would be able to do nothing but progress her skills would surely yield a fierce competitor.
The order of challenges DOES matter, here is an example -
* Rider A is the best in all except jumping, he is 1 before the last in jumping
* Only rider B is worse at jumping than A
* Rider B is worse at everything
Order 1 -
* we do the jumping contest first - bye bye rider B
result - rider A wins the rest of the challenges because he only bad at jumping
Order 2 -
* we do cornering challenge (or any other challenge) - bye bye rider B
* we do a jumping contest - bye bye rider A
result - rider A not winning
clearly the order does matter.
Like people here suggested - maybe we can try not eliminating people but look on their stats at the end as a whole to decide

This episode was gold. Cameraman was ruthless on Cody and I was alllllll about it. The wounded puppy look when he sat down was priceless. I was on the fence about it because last weeks episode was absolute garbage, but I think I will continue to watch this show now. Too bad I like everyone else, I might be sad next time.

When a 19-year old Emmett can totally nail the attitudes of both Cody and Alaina of not putting in 100% on their off challenges, that honestly says it all about them and they both should be sent home for attitude adjustment, as well as fitness training. Emmett for the win!
