Bucket Trommel Mining 2019

This is some video from our club outing in June. The bucket trommel is setup with a dual sluice in a Z pattern to allow the tailings and water to discharge into the processing pond. The upper sluice is an Angus MacKirk and the lower sluice is a Le Trap. Most of the gold is caught in the upper sluice but I found out the Le Trap needs to be cleaned up after a couple hours because the material becomes compacted in the bottom of the riffles over time.
