Now this is how you sell a product, get the audience interested, demonstrate the capabilities, then tell them about it. This man knows how to sell to an audience for sure.

I have seen this man in NYC for years , he was a great guy , nice person. I watched him sell this product for years on NYC corners , he always had on a smile and a customer with cash in his hand waiting to buy . RIP , NYC hero .
this guy was amazing. I used to see him near my office in Manhattan. One day he would sell vegetable peelers, the next day it would be children's books. It was always the same reaction. he would draw a huge crowd and then people would just start buying. I saw a short news story about his life on CBS. He was actually quite well off financially, living in a beautiful place near Park Ave (and help paying for his children / grand children's college educations). He always worked for himself selling items on the street, for decades.
I would have bought one off him on the spot! At 5 bucks for a potentially great peeler, add to it his hustle: That's a peeler I'd buy! And speaking from experience: All the peelers I ever owned were rusty old "heirlooms" or weird ceramic ones that don't work right. Anybody got a link to that peeler?

A true inspiration, he is a honest hard working old man who believes in his product. Can you imagine being his age sitting on a stool 8 or 9 hours a day 6 days a week peeling carrots & potatoes. Unbelievable and I bet sadly missed by his daughter & grand daughter. He earned every penny honestly with hard work.
yann burri It's because they are good quality, and it's not same kind of mass production than in China, and the workers in Swizerland get enough money from the job, unlike in China...
I worked in a restaurant 12 years ago right off union square. He would come in periodically for dinner with his daughter. Hi s natural speaking voice didn't exist. He was perpetually horse. When I heard he passed, I remembered what an iconic figure he was, he screamed all day until he had no voice .
I saw him on several NYC street corners through the years, and bought several peelers from him. I believe I still have one unopened. It’s now a collectors item. He’s long gone now. I miss his street food shows.
I remember him, I also remember the Police harassing him on multiple occasions. He’s been arrested for selling peelers. He was a good man just making an honest living.
Kabali Kahn I knew him as a salesman in UnionSquare. He was out every time they had the farmers market. I’ve watched him sell and also watched him get arrested by NYPD in handcuffs. He was retired and did this to supplement his income.
Now this is how you sell a product, get the audience interested, demonstrate the capabilities, then tell them about it. This man knows how to sell to an audience for sure.

FakeTimb best water Switzerland has to offer!
Fish need water to live. So that's an easy thing to do
Jane is this not life?
A true inspiration, he is a honest hard working old man who believes in his product. Can you imagine being his age sitting on a stool 8 or 9 hours a day 6 days a week peeling carrots & potatoes. Unbelievable and I bet sadly missed by his daughter & grand daughter. He earned every penny honestly with hard work.
This video warms my heart
this is not tv, this is live. awesome
He could sell drugs to the police
Loooool
Plot twist..
He's a copper selling drugs to kids!!
Raza Kampono lol

RIP, sir. You're very inspiring.
He looks so happy doing a job well done . RIP :(
Nothing from Switzerland is cheap.
but the stuff they sell is worth every penny imo
Nick Nicz it's because we have lots of money
yann burri It's because they are good quality, and it's not same kind of mass production than in China, and the workers in Swizerland get enough money from the job, unlike in China...
Veltto123 i know im from swizerland
Veltto123 haha go to mcdonalds to eat a bigmac for 10 dollars
Go to eat a kebap or durum for 13 dollars they are cheap but they want the money
I worked in a restaurant 12 years ago right off union square. He would come in periodically for dinner with his daughter. Hi s natural speaking voice didn't exist. He was perpetually horse. When I heard he passed, I remembered what an iconic figure he was, he screamed all day until he had no voice .
A wonderful day with our dear friend and genuine person Darren Jer 💐💐💐
I saw him on several NYC street corners through the years, and bought several peelers from him. I believe I still have one unopened. It’s now a collectors item.
He’s long gone now. I miss his street food shows.
he is an inspiration.. an old man with such energy and enthusiasm
just makes me sad he still has to work at that age
I remember him, I also remember the Police harassing him on multiple occasions. He’s been arrested for selling peelers. He was a good man just making an honest living.
Do u knw him?
Kabali Kahn I knew him as a salesman in UnionSquare. He was out every time they had the farmers market. I’ve watched him sell and also watched him get arrested by NYPD in handcuffs. He was retired and did this to supplement his income.
Bt he is an old man...and well sales man also.i really appreciate for him.now a days its hard to see like this😃
hes dead since 2009 lmao
Police = Legal maffia. People need to beat them down publicly lynch style for harrasing such a great man.
