It was a must see in 3-D at the park back in the good ol’ days at his height and the Star Wars era . It played in Tomorrow Land next to Space Mountain. He also worked with Steven Spielberg on an E.T. Audio story book. At his peak I don’t think they’re will ever be a star as big. It was an honor to live through it, thanks MJ

Captain EO heee heee. Yeah this was awesome. I was a big Micheal Jackson fan growing up and soon as we found out he had a 3-D movie at Disneyland we were there lol. In 86 when it came out I was 10. What a treat at that age to see it. 3D was great sound was off the hook. Great memory for sure.
When I was a child, I had the Michael Jackson movies in VHS. I loved them so much that I used to watch them on repeat. Watching this brought me back to a childhood full of good memories; I felt transported back to the 90s. Thank you.

It started out a bit corny, but when Michael got to dancing, the shivers and goosebumps hit me and I was reminded of why he was the King of Pop such as he was. Tim didn't want an African American actor to play Robin so they fired him. Epcot. The only reason I remember is because it was Captain EO, Spaceship Earth, the UnderSea stuff and that purple dinosaur dragon thing called Figment. And everything else sucked but I had to go to Epcot 3 times and I hated it all except those things I mentioned. 😂
Obviously, this was the inspiration for Star Trek TNG's Borg villains. You can see it all from the costume design to the hive-based facility. Also, the queen and her drones who are assimilated people. I am 100 percent sure someone working on TNG saw Captain EO.

Well, Captain EO is from 1986 and the Borg of Star Trek will first appear 1989 in 'Q Who?'. You can clearly see where they probably got some inspiration for the looks from (the Borg Queen, the Borg alcoves etc.). Maybe Rick Sternbach was a fan EPCOT?
