- So the time has come to sell my van (Fiat Ducato L3H2 - same as Ram Promaster, Citroen Relay & Peugeot Boxer)...but before I do that I'm going to rebuild it, implementing all the things that I learnt first time round.
In this Video I cover the 3 big things that i got wrong and why I would do them differently second time round. - Jak na to + styl
100% agree with your three points. The Trigano Tribute 550 layout is almost perfect & it includes all the points you make.
I’d also add swivels on the cab seats for comfy arm chairs & not just bench seating that is also the bed.
Looking forward to seeing the updated you make 👌🏄♂️🏂
Looking forward to the new van videos. I would reccmend getting a compost toilet for the new layout.
Thanks, Can you recommend a budget one? Nature's head is obviously the top brand, what about 'simploo' - any experience with that one?
@@sampayne6318 I wouldn't recommend any of the pre builds ones. They are crazy money. Just spend 30 quid and build your own one. Is the spirit of DIY and all that.
Always good to learn from others what was I thinking moments.
I am half way through my van build and I am already planning the next one.
👍
Thanks for this video. I'm about to start my conversion. I went for L4H3 and I'm planning keeping the bulk head with a door to the front, or a big window to crawl in/out. Curious if the decision to remove it is to also have more space by leveraging the swivel seats?
Ah, got my answer I think in your more recent video where you removed only the upper part of the bulk head.
Yh I plan to fit a swivel on the passenger seat. Removing the bulkhead both visually gives the impression of a lot more space whilst also having a couple of extra spaces to sit when in camper mode. I started with a window that I could crawl through, was just a pain in the arse to be honest and would much prefer to just be able to walk through .
@@sampayne6318 OK thanks, you got me thinking again :)
