I think the song is more deeper than that... The spider represents anxiety and depression. They are trapped and can't get away from it. Now this is where it turns more toxic. Felix is controlling the spider, which means he has control over his feelings. I.n also said that "feeling threatened has disappeared now" being consumed by darkness and their negative thoughts, that somehow they're used to it. Han pointing the gun on his head, Chan letting I.n hold the arrow right through his heart and Chan and changbin also doing the sword box illusion. They are numb, as if it's like "If I die, so what?" Basically: if they're trapped, oh well, what's the point of escaping when they purposely wanted to be trapped in the first place just like changbin said at the beginning.
Felix eats the spider and it goes to his heart. The "venom" (anxiety/depression) spreads which means NO ONE can help them but themselves. And at the end, they chose not helping themselves at all, getting stuck by their minds and having no thoughts of escaping. Which then felix closes the door.

This song is awesome I love all of it especially the story they ate telling.
The beat is somewhat reminds me of edm/Dunster and I love how the vocals sound and img everyone slayed it but for me personally I loved how Felix and Hyunjin slayed their parts

Honestly, with the visuals between bangchan and felix specifically with the selfie , since bangchan in the leader and he is free and the others are still tied up, it feels to me like bangchan was "forcing" the others into this life of fame ...."no escape got me wrapped around your fingers" to me it feels like a love song (doesn't have to be romantic) from the rest of the members to changbin, like he has them tied up, but at the end they decide that they don't ever want to leave him and are welcoming this venomous lifestyle in order to stay around him... ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

Contrary to what the lyrics appear on surface…It’s actually about the hold music has on them-the industry is poisonous yet intoxicating that you just endure the fatal aspects of it. They trapped in the grip (web) of music and all that comes with it. The toxic yet alluring relationship they are in with their music and the industry. The last supper vibe is representing as they may be at the table with others but will be the last one standing-the ending is yeah it’s work and toxic but we are t ready to go.
Just like red lights on the surface appears to be sexual in nature-it’s not at all-it’s about the obsession they have with their work-the red lights is the light of the studio-can’t letting go laying in bed waking up thinking about the music.
