Made a curved sword. I focused on the shape of the curved line and focused on balancing it as a whole. The sword was made up of high speed steel (HSS) and black persimmon trees.
Curves are just so aesthetically pleasing. It's why I concentrated on Nihonto myself. Of course the issue of improvement of cutting ability is somewhat arguable, or maybe dependant on the amount of curve. It just feels more natural to cut with a curved blsde. BTW: Another Beautiful Design.
