University protests: Pro-Palestinian demonstrations continue for 2nd week across US campuses

- Pro-Palestinian protests on university campuses across the United States continued into a second week, decrying Israel’s role in the conflict in Gaza.
On Tuesday, University of Chicago police pushed back a line of protesters who gathered after their encampment was torn down early in the morning.
Plus, on Monday, officers donning riot gear clashes with protesters at the University of California in San Diego, Calif.
At University of California, Davis (UC Davis) on Monday, a new pro-Palestinian encampment was established at the school’s south quad.
Meanwhile, as pro-Palestinian demonstrations are ongoing across the U.S., pro-Israel protests are taking place, too, including one near Columbia University in New York City.

University education in Canada needs a paradigm shift, from meeting requirements to developing inquisitive minds and independent thinking. Herd mentality among the young is a serious liability.

The presence of these students shows that there are still people in our society who possess basic humanitarianism, compassion and conscience.
These protests don't show it at all. They show our kids' lack of education and life experience. I see a lack of basic understanding of history, world affairs, and what cults entail. I also see them all having the exact same gear. This suggests these well-intentioned kids are mindless puppets being well-funded by bad actors. This isn't new. This sort of thing led countries to Communism, the Great Leap Forward, and Nazi Germany. It's easy to turn well-intentioned naive kids against their neighbors, friends, and family.
Lol. All it proves is that people want to virtue signal on issues they have no knowledge of.
Bandwagon mentality, nothing more.
