When you have a higher capital ship count than the enemy fleet and are attacking, one of my favorite ways to flex on the AI is to pause, and drop all my ships out of hyperspace in a U around the enemy fleet. Anialates them almost instantly.

i do that too sometimes, for me it depends on on the time of the battle and what i am fighting
