- On our Royal Caribbean Cruise on the Oasis of the Seas we encountered some rough weather. So, instead of having a Perfect Day at Coco Cay, we were diverted to Fort Lauderdale and in this video, I am sharing what we did to make the most of our day.

The Flamingo Gardens was waaaaay better than I thought it was going to be. Awesome place!

You never know when you are going to have weather related travel issues. I recently went on a river cruise in France where it rained so much, the boat could no longer pass. So we missed out on two more stops. But fortunately with a river cruise and it’s smaller, they had a whole new plan for us with in 24 hours. Glad you made the most of it and luckily they kept you all safe!

Flamingo garden look so amazing. We really love to visit these kinda places as my son enjoys alot! I would say A day spent with nature and wildlife is always fascinating. keep sharing the lovely videos
We had fun despite the changes. But definitely want to get to Coco Cay one day!
24 usd for this is crazy, even here in expensive switzerland the entry for the zurich zoo is just a few bucks more, and it definitely has so much more to offer!
The price is a little steep at the gardens..but at least there were those cute lil river otters 🦦😁

The weather has been so crazy this year in Florida, more wind, rain and cloudy days compared to what we are used to.
Yeah we thought it was kinda pricey, but I guess ot does support the wildlife that need a sanctuary/home for rehabilitation. I've seen some of the recent weather there and it's been wild!

ok so... 4.25 just as you say you are worried about getting pooped on just behind you there is some bird poop falling from the sky. Well, probably not the sky. LOL sorry to focus on that it was just somehow poetic! loved the tortoise and of course, the flamingos!
Fort Lauderdale beach looks amazing, but so windy. So nice. It's a shame about the boat cruise.
Shame they changed your port but you made the most of it. Laughing I would be the same don't poop on me birds haha flamingos are beautiful.

Good video, and we had a house just north of Lauderdale and not much to do for a port town that is cruise ship central. Miami is just down the road and great shopping.
Oh no! I’ve been on 2 cruises where they have changed the ports, it’s quite annoying (though always understandable) looks like you were able to find a good alternate though :)
I'm enjoying all the episodes, and really looking forward to your "final thoughts" on this whole experience. We haven't cruised in a while, but from everything I see, it's changed a lot in the past 5 or so years. I would also like to know how you compare mega-ship to small ship cruising. Our last cruise was on the Oasis and we didn't enjoy it as much as the smaller ships.

Fort Lauderdale instead of Coco Cay.... 😂 That's sad. I do appreciate that you guys made the most of it. The botanical gardens are fantastic. 😂 This reminds me of my sister at SeaWorld in San Antonio years ago where she was eating her ice cream and a bird flew into the tree above her and toom the biggest crap I've ever seen a bird take on her 😂😂😂. Ah those gators are just swamp puppies. Sucks about the weather.
Haha yeah it wasn't what we were expecting, but that can happen when you cruise. That sucks about your sister's experience at Sea World 🤣🤦♀️
You guys sound like me the last 3 weeks as my time in the Balkans became tighter and I was literally filming one day, then spending a couple hours that night to figure out what the hell to film the next day lol.
Yeah it takes a lot of planning. You must have been feeling the pressure with your long trip.
