I don't think anybody should be allowed in the locker rooms directly after games. Male or female. I think there should be like a separate clubhouse or area for those post game interviews to take place
DrizzleTV 100% Agree
Are male reporters allowed in the locker rooms of female teams?
yes
Anuj Agarwal then I don't see the problem, perfectly egalitarian to me, however the reporters have no right to complain about how players act when they are invading their space.
its called decency...
Aaron Beckmann As someone who played organised sports throughout my teen years I can say that loads of stuff happened in locker rooms that when viewed by others may make them uncomfortable, but we were just having fun after a game and not all of it would be considered professional. My point was the reporters have no right to demand that players behave in a certain way in locker rooms because they are invading the players personal space and the players should be able to act however they would if the reporters were not around
oh i agree, i wrestled in high school and we were required to shower after school in the locker room cause it could make sure that we weren't getting things like ringworm and we loved to make all the other sports uncomfortable. but that was the reason behind this entire thing. Not to say that players shouldn't be doing this, but to say that the reporters don't wanna be in there and its already uncomfortable for them, its not something they enjoy
Captain Obvious here.....why don't guys & women wait until players have showered and changed clothes before interviews?
because that would make sense and these people aren't about making sense.
you and your foolish logic
Geraldo S timelines. Every reporter wants to be the very first to break a story as soon as a sporting event is over
Because they want to see BBC
Get all reporters (regardless of sex) out of the locker room. The players are never in the right state of mind and all that reporters are doing is trying to get a snippet to make a headline. Make the players come out and face the media that need to and leave the locker room to the privacy of the players. Regardless of sport.
"....I don't need to go into a locker room to see that". that means she's getting plenty 😏 haha
my god you people are disgusting
Armando Kozomara yep
How about I'm a grown fucking man, stay out of the god damned locker room until I am dressed, please.
exactly. these athletes have to have their guard up 24/7 and have no where they can go to be themselves for 10 minutes or god forbid they had a terrible performance and are feeling like shit and need to unload and be left alone. they only get that in the locker room.
Leon Dawson yupp, exactly
Kharmatos13 _unload_
Here's my ring
i really want to know if reporters and especially male reporters are allowed in a WNBA locker rooms
good point
Davon85J they are right however if male reporters are allowed so should females BUT nobody should be in their catch them in the hallways
+Marco Clarke You beat me to it. First thought that came to my mind.
Agent Smidt I highly doubt there allowed in and if they are I'm certain someone checks if all the players are already decent
+Marco Clarke It just irks me how some men shamelessly ponder to women devoid of any semblance of honesty. I think we have reached a stage in socitey were we can't even object to women without being criticized. We can't even have male spaces anymore.
why in the world do reporters wall in when players are walking out of the shower and walking around the locker rooms still with towels around their waist? wait for them to get dressed.
walk *
kenya is not humid...it is not on the coast...elevation over 5000 feet...it's actually quite pleasant
Hahaha...that's awesome...facts!
Are men even welcome in women's locker rooms???
Tony Davis Idk but Colin is lying if he believes heterosexual men wouldn't want to be in a women's locker room. If a woman in a locker room flashed a man I doubt he would be complaining.
One thing I disagree on, is that fact that he said he wouldn't want to go inside the locker room of sweaty women with bras on after beating Mexico. I'm pretty sure most guys would want to see an ENTIRE room with women on bras and their skin shinning like some adult video is about to take place lol.
I would want to swim in them all
You ain't never lieing. Why would I care if naked women are sweaty? I'm trying to fuck, we all getting sweaty
facts.
missed the point completely. he's got a job to do, a serious journalist will not go to the lockeroom to hit on a player. that's just childish.
Thank god i don't want be a "serious journalists" when I grow up. He may not go in there to hit on her but no man is complaining about being in a girls locker room
This is an interesting discussion.
Are male reporters allowed in the female locker rooms after their games?
"...Who do these guys think they are?" Really, you mean besides some of the best and highest paid athletes in the world. Come on, Its a locker room, but since he pulled down his pants when you were in there it must have been just for you. Fine, I'll just answer your question with a question, Who do you think you are?
I would love to be in the Women's national team locker room any day. Whether they win, lose, or just got done with practice. We gone take showers as a TEAM and get clean together
Fuck I'll go into any locker room if you paid me millions like the athletes
start doing interviews outside the locker rooms
the chick on this show is soooo hot
I know man :)
:(
Chris Lobos bruh I would still wreck her
I admit she's attractive but sadly not too bright.
Thats every woman
So do men go into the women's locker rooms??
This girl can walk into my locker room anytime!!
Newsflash mi ladee....guys go to locker rooms to shower and change clothes, they've been doing this since B.C. Why should they change this practice because you are there...which leads me to this question: What information do she think that she could get from a player before he showers that she couldn't get 10 minutes AFTER he showers and puts his clothes on? Have players been known to give false info after they've had a shower?
+Geraldo S The point is that he would have already given that info to male reporter, and she would be 10 min behind.
+cpfishfan14 ...or maybe she'll get more information than the male reporter.
+Geraldo S Watch the previous one where they first broach this subject. Kristine's point was that there should be a separate interview space, and that reporters should not be allowed inside locker rooms. It is because they are allowed that the women reporters have no choice but to get in there to get scoops and bites, or else miss deadlines.
How many ways a player can explain how he felt making the game winning touchdown? His answer will be the same after he comes out of the shower.
Most of the time I go to coffee shops for bagels or donuts, but it still smells like coffee.
They do it...so you get the best sound byte....or you will get a coach+communications director coached answer....like
- one game at a time
- We Executed
it seems like Colin isn't giving her any time to speak
Yea, she wanted to continue talking but he kept interrupting her.
+adrian solis He always cuts her off.
Quinten Shere well....it's his show. There's probably a lot of other things going on behind the scenes with the network probably wanting to make sure he's the one talking most often because people tune in to hear him.
"can't break hard news" lol
I agree with everything they are saying but one thing. In woman's sports, its more unacceptable for male reporters to go into their locker rooms. Not saying anything, just going from both sides.
It's like putting women on the front lines of combat with a bunch of men. Things will happen. Don't give people an opportunity to misbehave and then act all offended when they misbehave.
Joseph Dooley yea awesome logic, always blame the victim i see... ffs
its a locker room you fools.
how many men are in the wnba locker rooms?
My locker room is always lit🔥🔥📚
Watermelondre _ cringe
My take on this is why do they let the camera men in the locker room? Break the stories and take all the sound bytes they want, but we don't need to see athletes wearing towels.
1:20 then don't go into locker rooms. Complain to your employers
Keep the media in the locker rooms. Keep the media in the White House. But please, keep the White House out of the locker room.
what?
F**K Trump!
Elgin Dude another tolerant liberal? Lol
Aaron Seidl NO ONE should be tolerant of Trump.
wyman kemble ...and bless you and all all other misguided Trump sycophants.
Sorry but if women have a problem with seeing naked guys in the LOCKER room then don't go in there....are men allowed into female locker rooms I would be surprised they are....I usually don't disagree with cowherd but this one definitely do and I hate how he acts so dramatic about how he loses faith in humanity when guys act like this
+cminksful You dont understand the argument their making though. Its one thing to have a problem with seeing naked people. It's another thing entirely is people are purposefully flashing for the sole reason that you are a woman. To be honest, i feel the same way as Colin here, I lose faith in humanity when i see these comments and how stupid they are.
Owl Eye Ok I get the whole naked vs flashing thing but my point is women all too often want to have it both ways are males allowed in female locker rooms my guess is no
cminksful And I with you on that. But is that really an excuse. There are many biasness in out society, that favor both men and woman. But that is not an excuse for immature behavior. And lastly, if a male reporter was allowed in a female locker room, would the athletes flash the reporters just because they are immature and male. And if so, is that really any more mature than what the guys she is talking about did. Oh and by the way, Males are allowed in female locker rooms. the WNBA has the same rules when it comes to reporters as the NBA.
Owl Eye So for clarification male reporters can go into a female locker room and interview naked females
cminksful yeah. But you do realise being naked is a choice. you don't have to be naked when reporters come in, male or female.
I personal don't think any reporter should be in the locker room its essentially someones bathroom
are men allowed in women locker rooms?
they didn't ask you to go into the locker room
I’m not sure why this guy thinks being in a locker room is like being in the White House.
she got all the hard news she could handle
No media person should be in the locker room while players aren't dressed. That goes for man and woman. Wait for the players to get dressed and then go into the locker room.
wait until they're dressed?
I want to go in women's locker rooms, but I'm a real man Colin!
On the other hand neither should be complaining that there is a downside to their extremely well compensated job. Would you rather be a janitor? Flipping burgers at Mickey D's? No? Then the people who tell you to suck it up have a point.
OMG you guys are completely picking and choosing responses! The overwhelming majority of responses were to get all reporters out of there! Don't turn this into a sexist issue.
Yeah right she loves every minute of free show
There is a time and place of you want locker room access as a reporter it should be first ok with the players
Go in the locker room with cameras rolling. Don't blackmail or anything but the thought that their nude pictures/videos will be with someone out there will threaten them to civility
Kristine Leahy is a size queen
I would flash Kristine Leahy
She might laugh at that little thing.
Yeah, do men go in women's locker rooms. Say female tennis players, soccer, and/or WNBA
get out of the locker room then birch what happens in the locker room stays in the fuckin lockeroom
No now I know why Christine so salty.. She went into labrons locker room and he didn't show her the business 😄😆😜
😁
How about just keep the female reporters in the female sports locker rooms and male reporters in the male sports locker rooms? I know that's such a complicated solution.
It's been mentioned over and over are men allowed in the female sports players locker rooms? Not hypothetically, I mean really.
Right I think adults at work should act proper, fans and those stakeholders should get their money worth, if its not private enough than make it that way. I bet the cubbies have tvs and little fridges proly smells like money and icy hot
Yeah I would be interested about if male reporters are allowed in female locker rooms for reporting. I'm not saying it's right. I agree that there should be another room... because at the end of the day it's a LOCKER ROOM.. nudity is to be expected.. I agree with Kristine that there should be a separate room so that there isn't an unfair advantage and that female reporters aren't being flashed etc.
You are the best on Radio and TV. Can you please get a better hair system?
sooo we can go in the ladies locker room?
Radio.
:[
i hate watching locker room interviews. i've never enjoyed a locker room interview. I always change the channel. I would rather watch the View. I think all media should get out of locker rooms. interview them somewhere else. It's the stupidest thing i've ever heard of. the players hate it the interview, so their answers suck. the media hates it, so their questions suck. it sucks so the viewers don't like it. put something else on TV.
I agree to some degree. However does this happen in the same way for male reporters covering women's sports? Also I find the word degrading inappropiate. I think that the issue is there, however it is also a story around equality. Those men who flashed you, will always show off, flirt or genuinely just mess around to have fun. That will never happen to a male reporter inside the lockerroom of women's sports. If anyone can find a story that proves otherwise, then you still have to understand that this is part of the game, men plays with any attractive women. It is not degrading. It is in many was how the instinct of any man is and also in sports these men are more prone to it. Also this doesn't change if you went to a mens lockerroom for a 10th division team. They will still behave like this, so I think that in some sense the whole setting of the environment is an addition to what comes with the job. Of course the male athletes will not flash a male reporter even if they wanted to. In a case like Kristine is talking about, it is almost the athletes lack of respect that should be in question. When she walks in, she is not only a reporter, she is also an attractive woman. That is undeniable and if she demands respect, then she should just grab something, twist it a bit and simply ask if he wants to have children one day and walk away afterwards.
are male reporters allowed into female sports locker rooms? fair question.
Damn, Colin Cokeherd gotta chill 👃🏻
She just trying to start some drama
Colin, Can men go into women’s’ locker rooms?
MJB
Can Men and Women reporters go into the Female athlete's locker room like they do the Mens! if so why don't they?
STAY IN YO LANE KRISTINE
FS1>>>ESPN
I wouldn't have a problem in woman's locker rooms why should she equality for al
Plumbers have to work on septic tanks. It's a part of your job that you fought to access to. If ALL the men there (players & press for decades) had/have to see junk so do you.
As for the flashing.... News flash, ever hear of the phrase teabagging? Dudes farting on pillows, mooning etc. Males can sometimes engage in very "suspect" behavior around other men, especially in locker rooms. Females aren't being singled out. You're being included into the immaturity.
Their fucking men don't defend 20 and 30 year old for doing dumb shit like that.
+Drake Dayton WTF IS WRONG WITH THE READING COMPREHENSION OF PPL TODAY! Where in my post did I defend ANYTHING. I called it IMMATURE and compared it to dealing with SHIT. Newsflash! You're not a special snowflake. Nobody owes you anything and you are entitled to nothing. You're in a locker room. Dudes like that in that environment do inappropriate shit TO OTHER DUDES.
She's in someone's personal space. She doesn't want to see dicks. They probably don't want mics and cameras in their face at the end of their workday. Everybody has shit about their job they have to deal with. What great advantage is gained or lost in not waiting for someone to get dressed? Deal with it or quit.
Sid Jones she's talking about players purposely flashing to female reporters. Yes, in that case she's ENTITLED to some respect, everyone who is just doing a job does.
Kristine Leahy
we like the stuff lol he swipes his nose
Time to mute the video and watch my girl Kristine
Let's be honest, she liked what she saw. But fr wait for people to get dressed or stay away from the shower area
She definitely liked it, she even says at the end that flirting does happen.
Do you want a man going in a lockerroom with naked women?
