I love how children interepret marrige ad marrying someone you care a lot about. It can be their mom, dad, sibling, or bff and to them it makes sense cuz to marry it has to be someone very special.
So true, when he was younger my little brother casually mentioned that he was going to marry me (his sister) and my parents and I were really caught off guard, but now I realise that at the time he interpreted marriage differently to how adults know it. Ugh i can't describe how much i miss my little man's tiny voice. 🥺 he used to ask for cheese and crackers, that was his favorite snack as a toddler, and he would pronounce it like tseese and cackers lol. He would also call scorpions like scorpeens. Sometimes if we are saying anything that requires us to use any of those words, I'll say it to him like how he used to pronounce them and he will say them with that pronunciation back to me.
My youngest son had the cutest, squeaky voice when he was little. He'll be 15 next month but when he was around 10 or so it suddenly got really deep, he hadn't even gone through puberty yet & he sounded like a grown man! 😂

The newer comments on this video are absolutely ludicrous. He’s a child - he doesn’t have a sexual orientation, because he’s not even hit puberty yet. This video just shows a child talking about how he loves his best friend (as a friend). Kids don’t understand the meaning of marriage; they haven’t even had ‘the talk’ by his age. This video is really wholesome - Miles is a well-spoken kid who cares about his “BFF”. I'm gay but when I was in pre-school, I "married" my girl best friend, and we "divorced" less than a week later. Kids have no clue what it means to be married. They just know you marry someone you care about. So to children that can be anyone, most of the time it's their best friend. It doesn't necessarily mean they have a crush on their friend, but it means they care enough about them to make a promise that they'll be together for a long time. Maddie and I had a very short-lived marriage. But now I'm in a committed 5-year relationship with my current best friend. We learn the true meaning of love as we get older.
