Did you know that the most important time for building a child's brain is in the first five years? That's when there are more brain connections forming than there are stars in the sky.
Fortunately, it doesn't require more time or expensive toys or classes. There are so many ways to involve your child in everyday activities that help them learn and grow.
In this session, psychologist and parenting author, Jodie Benveniste shares some simple ways to 'Care', 'Learn', 'Talk' and 'Play' so you can switch on more and more lights, and help your child enjoy the brightest start...First Five Forever. Presented by the Department for Education and Child Development

If you listen ti this you will have great tools and confidence to raise great kids! Don’t need much more, this beautifully summed up almost every thing I have read or heard about in the last year since my son was born.

setting boundaries and following through with them every time really changed my sons behaviour and listening to what i'm saying to the better! of course sometimes he still gets mad if things don't go his way but it's a manageable amount now.
it's incredible just how much they learn in their first years. i knew it would be a rapid learning curve but experiencing it myself i'm amazed every day.

Such great essential information for loving parents n caregivers who desire to raise their children right. My children r all grown up now n well.I remember filling up the days with talk, play, songs n reading even at baby stage when they couldn't speak but they could hear, they couldn,'t read but they could listen. Those were tiring n noisy fun times.Wish these good fun times for all parents n their babies/children♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️Btw, I just remembered that I used to walk up or down the stairs, holding my very young daughter's hand n counting as we go, sometimes in English, at other times in Mandarin or Malay. These r the languages used in my country.

Its interesting to learn from your platform. Thank you for the presentation.
I have a case that requires professional advice; What advice do you have for a father of two that is separated from his wife, the children are with the mother and she is like blocking all avenues to contact or connect with the children due to distance between them? Please note that the father is still responsible for the monthly upkeep, payment of school fees. Is there any advice to help the father connect to the children in that situation? What are your suggestions to such situation?
