Sandy, the outdoor performance of Angelina dinging Diamonds Are Forever has an issue with the roll off of all the sound (her and instruments). All the harmonics above say 3K or 4K are gone. It's not her because just listen to the instruments and there are NO harmonics. I hope there is another performance of this song - just because! i know what ya mean, i suggest it to everyone. she has abandoned her upper range, and that's an artistic decision on her part. her mids and lows are SO much more resonant now!
She would be perfect to sing a song for a James Bond movie. She has that kind of voice. I do not like her performances on this mini concert, I have problems watching them, the babd is way WAY to loud for her voice. It is sad, since there are so many goid songs from this concert. You hear her well when she sings loud, but you miss out on all the things that makes her so unique, so different, which is her quite, raspy and soulfull voice. She has the ability to make a room listen in total silence, not by belting out on the top of her voice, but by draging the audience inn by her quiet, powerful and still so loud voice. It is a shame they made this mistake. You should watch one performance that is still live music, but matches her voice just perfectly. It is one of my favorite performances of her, it is perfect. @@richardhobbs9038 it is a very popular and down to earth event in Norway, it is a summer festival for the whole family, where the artist is seen as an equal to everybody else, so no matter how much fame the artist have, you will never acctually have a typical fan reaction to the artist. The event is something norwegians would call "koselig" which is a word that holds a meaning that is to difficult to translate to any language, but if I would try it would be something that gives a cozy kind of pleasure were you are enjoying yourself, often with others in a down to earth more mindfull kind of way? just chilling out enjoying life. It's an accepted feeling in Norway. This event is not free, but it is cheap, so everybody that wants can get a ticket.
