Great to see you getting back to some Angelina! One thing I have noticed watching people reacting to Angelina. They often forget they are even doing a reaction video... she has a way of sucking you in, and the world around you just falls away. You get trapped by the beautiful web she is weaving with her voice, and it's like you are hypnotized. Angelina is a perfect way to escape whatever stresses might be going on in your day. It is impossible to be stressed while listening to her.

There is a rock band I follow out of Monterrey, Mexico called The Warning. These 3 sisters are very good. They sing and write originals of their own and are an independent band. I have learned that they were contacted by AGT to compete on the show. That’s right.. asked, not to try out but were asked and they turned them down. I love it! Don’t ever think for a moment that AGT is fair at all. It’s all about the money and ratings.

When Angelina sings this song it feels like the dark tones in the lyrics has finaly come into to peace with its self. Aviciis version is more at unease and he seems so hunted in the song. I don't know if Angelina will continue to move the past into her future, but I say her present is so full of soul and charm. She melts me every time I listen to her. From time to time I discover a new 7 or 8 years old prodigy, like Angelina at her beginning, and I'm amazed by so much talent so young, but none exceeds the incredible level of personality and depth of Angelina. Sandy, I believe Sawyer won the voice when he was 15 years old. I watched all his performances on The Voice at the time, and for me (IMO), he's no where near the talent of Angelina. She simply "kills" both of these songs. I like her version of "Welcome to My World" better than Elvis'. Her low register has matured so much, and she just mesmerizes me with this song. Her cover of "Wake Me Up" is a tribute to her friend Avicci, who wrote and sang this song, and committed suicide at 28. Her version is nothing at all like his. Angelina has lived a very happy life (in no small part because her family protected her childhood), and losing her friend Avicci (and her grand father) was a great sadness for her. This cover (and her rendition of it) is a tribute to his life and their friendship. Of course, sadness is a great teacher. And Angelina, like all of us, must experience her share. Listening to this dedicated song was cathartic to me....as it would be to any who lost someone who succomed to the unbearable weight of their life.
I am 67 years old and she reminds me of the way music was when it first started, back in the beginning when you had to rely on your voice to get the meaning and message across. That has been lost but thanks to her, i sure hope it makes a comeback. She is great. You feel her words, not just hear them. That is why you get her, you feel her like she is singing just to you.

Hypnotic is how Howie described her singing after she sang her second song on AGT Champions. You and Howie described Angelina perfectly. In my opinion I believe Angelina does it on purpose because she starts her songs real breathy so one has to pay attention to listen to the lyrics.
Holy crap-snacks!! That was delicious. If I had been standing my knees would have buckled. She just has the best low range of any singer I have heard. The power behind those low notes is tough to maintain. They usually dissolve in to some breathy barely heard note. But she had power behind her notes. Good Luck with that, I'll probably beat you to the tears if that's any consolation. Oh my goodness the song takes on a whole new feel with her slowing it down. How poignant and beautiful. Avicii was about 25 when he met 8 year old Angelina. He was about 30 when he killed himself in a kind of ugly way in Oman. I think he died around the time her grandfather died, but all these ages are approximate. Hope you are feeling better.

I am 67 years old and she reminds me of the way music was when it first started, back in the beginning when you had to rely on your voice to get the meaning and message across. That has been lost but thanks to her, i sure hope it makes a comeback. She is great. You feel her words, not just hear them. That is why you get her, you feel her like she is singing just to you.
The tribute to Aviici is absolutely gold, so emotional and so perferct for the mood, and perfect for his passing. The words fits her feelings for him and the situation perfectly.

I love both of these renditions, but Angelina's tributes are always beautiful & respectful. She totally changed Avicii's up-beat pop song into a solom, beautiful tribute to her friend. Even the "bye" at the end was emotional for me. If you haven't reacted to "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You" & "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face," I highly recommend them.

Two entirely different songs but both sung with passion and emotion.In the second song, Angelina showed the same respect to the memory of her friend Avicii as she did to the memory of her grandfather when singing Always on my mind. And, yes, listening to her singing Wake me up did reduce me to tears.

Hypnotic is how Howie described her singing after she sang her second song on AGT Champions. You and Howie described Angelina perfectly. In my opinion I believe Angelina does it on purpose because she starts her songs real breathy so one has to pay attention to listen to the lyrics.
Holy crap-snacks!! That was delicious. If I had been standing my knees would have buckled. She just has the best low range of any singer I have heard. The power behind those low notes is tough to maintain. They usually dissolve in to some breathy barely heard note. But she had power behind her notes. Good Luck with that, I'll probably beat you to the tears if that's any consolation. Oh my goodness the song takes on a whole new feel with her slowing it down. How poignant and beautiful. friend, former Prince (by marriage) of Norway, Ari Behn to suicide. She dedicated a song to him too.

Albert Tenfoot thank you. I remember him. It was rather sad when he died as with so many others I have loved in my life, the ones who started things. Back in the 60s. The 27 Club, we call it. Others took their lives and were the best at what they did. It can be a difficult industry. I pray for all the good ones now to be safe.

Avicii is the professional name for Tim Bergling a Swedish musician. Angelina collaborated her in some takes for his Volvo commercial. Unfortunately, he died at 28. You can read about him in wikipedia. This must have been a hard blow for young Angelina ♥

Already at age 8, Angelina Jordan enchanted millions of Norwegian fans when she won the 2017 season of “Norway’s Got Talent.”

Eighty-nine percent of “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” viewers, voted for Norwegian singer Angelina Jordan after her performance of “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
Born and raised in Oslo, Angelina Jordan Astor (14) was just 7 years old when her amazing voice took her to “Norway’s Got Talent” with “Gloomy Sunday,” a song made famous by legendary American jazz singer Billie Holiday. Jordan went on to win “Norways’s Got Talent” at the age of 8 and became a viral voice after bringing the judges to tears with 300 million views on CZcams: czcams.com/video/zN4kAof1is0/video.html.
Jordan was the overwhelming favorite to win “America’s Got Talent: The Champions,” according to viewers of season 2. She had won over judge Heidi Klum, who gave her the coveted golden buzzer when she auditioned. But to the disappointment of many, the rising young Norwegian star was eliminated from the finals on Feb. 17-yet she remains a winner in the hearts of her millions of fans.
The story of Angelina is, if not magic, an unusual story. At age 9 in 2015, she published her first book, Mellom to hjerter (Between two hearts), the true story of two girls who live completely different lives. At 6, she met a poor girl who made a huge impact on her. This shoeless girl she met on the streets in the Middle East is a girl living a completely different life from hers.
An excerpt from the book reads:
We look into each other’s eyes;
she peers at me.
I have to manage this; I have to do something-she must not freeze.
She has beautiful blue eyes. Her eyes are the color of sky and sea.
She does not want to talk to anyone. But even though
she might not want to talk to me,
I really want to try.
After they talked, she gave the girl her green shoes and vowed to never appear on stage again wearing shoes. Since that time, Angelina has performed barefoot in public.

Angelina Jordan, 14, is not only a celebrated singer on both sides of the Atlantic, she is a deeply contemplative and poetic author.
The touching and heartwarming book was written by Angelina and illustrated by her grandmother, Mery Zamani, a talented artist from Teheran, Iran, and who lives in Norway. Together they have created the art printed on Angelina’s merchandise, now available for purchase online.
Last year when Angelina was performing in Oslo, one of the fans in the audience was none other than Prime Minister Erna Solberg.
“I really liked it, very nicely performed,” Solberg said before she got a signed copy of Angelina’s book Mellom to hjerter and her CD It’s Magic.
And some of the proceeds from the book go to a worthy cause: when you purchase one, a part of the profit is donated to homeless children.
At only age 14, Angelina Jordan has proved what a little girl with a big voice and a big heart can make possible, as fans on both sides of the Atlantic look forward to what’s to come.

Avicii was about 25 when he met 8 year old Angelina. He was about 30 when he killed himself in a kind of ugly way in Oman. I think he died around the time her grandfather died, but all these ages are approximate. Hope you are feeling better.
