I am of the opinion that book reading with certain time limit shouldn't be done, taking it like a challenge. Its not physical challenge that u can complete by training more. Reading just to complete it in given time without giving much thought to the content shouldn't be done.
haha it can be considered as a challenge to make you mentally prepare for it. I took a challenge so I could come back on my reading track as I wasn't focusing on it. And yeah this challenge is helping me really well. So yeah consider it as a positive challenge only.

Do I have to modify my reading style if I am reading fiction, non fiction (non tech)? What kind of a mindset one should have while reading non tech books on a regular basis? Habit is something that goes consistently. Do this thing select one area of sitting & set a particular time in your alarm. Just do it consistently for 5 days your brain will start giving signals to you that hey it's the time to read & you'll enjoy it.
Why You Wanna Read 150 Books? Because You Wanna Tell & Show To People That You Read 150 Books Right? Only a Single Book Can Change Your Life If You Read It Again n Again And Implement The Lessons Into Your Life. So Your Goal Shouldn't Be To Read As Many Books As Possible, It Should Be To Absorb As Much As Possible From a Single Book...Or From Each One Of You Read.
I don't think it's fair to assume that someone's goal is solely for the purpose of showing off. We all have different motivations and reasons for setting goals, and it's important to respect that. Moreover, even if someone does want to show off a little, what's wrong with being proud of reading books? Furthermore, sharing this goal with her audience can inspire others to read more as well. Let's give her the benefit of the doubt and support her in her reading journey.
