If youre an advanced diver going to Dive Malta then The Um El Faroud wreck dive is a great dive to do.
The Um Ee Faroud was a Libyan owned tanker which was scuttled off the coast of Malta for Scuba Divers following a gas explosion in an industrial accident where nine workers lost their lives.

The viz is a pretty poor advert for Malta diving :-(
Ha ha. Yes, I was there for two days and pretty much every conversation I had was about how the vis was so bad and if only I had been there the week before and it’s normally really clear.
We can’t control the weather. But yes, I did seem to get the worst vis possible.
