The P31 was build in Germany. She was sold to the Maltese Government in 1992 to be used as a patrol boat. The P31 was used in border control operations and her biggest mission in Malta was the rescue of 251 illegal immigrants.
The P31 wreck dive in Malta was sunk in 2009 specifically for scuba diving and the wreck lies in less than 20m of water which makes it perfect for new divers and a great orientation wreck dive for your first dives in Malta.

i did my open water out in malta and now qualified. the P31 was incredible to see especially since i’m only 13 years old!
