finally with someone who's played more than 10 games
They should only do what I wore with retired players.
An older player isn't bad but I have no clue why they chose Ryan Sessegnon.
@@jahedur123456 it's ridiculous he's only been playing for 2 years. Maybe they should only choose players 30 and over
I‘m okay with 30+
I 2nd that
@@jahedur123456 I agree, it should only be reserved for vets or retired players.
What i wore is so much better with retired players
Chewy Suarez init it’s stupid when they do it with people like sessegnon when he’s only 18
Hell yes! Doing Sessegnon & Dele was bloody silly.
Before this gets lost in the comments I wanna say that I upload insane motivational football videos and would really appreciate any support.
Totally agre. That delle ali its sooooo bad.
Do it with Stevie G
Luckily they didn’t include shorts...
Yeh otherwise I'd be hard as a rock
Mad Ting Erm I’m not gonna ask
Lmao. I wonder what happened to those shorts. They were probably burned.
@@ass640 lol what
We still feel the smell in Cagliari ahahahah
Scored 40 goals for Everton, won the Golden Boot at the world cup then signed for Barca, all in the same year. What a boss.
Then bangs a hat trick against real Madrid...a true legend
And helps save LCFC.
O
The goal at anfield against the reds 💙💙
Still couldn't beat dundee united hahahah
Played for Barca and still says everton were the best club he played for. That everton team was so good it's mad.
Him and Kendall leaving screwed everton up so badly
They were the best team in europe in 85 to be fair
@@tjolvbot What screwed Everton up was being banned from Europe. They won the title the season before Linekar played for them, and although they should have won the double like he said when he did play for them, they still won the league the season after he left.
@@adobdebunkology5671 Certainly Lineker and Kendall would have stayed longer and they would have been very unlucky if they had reached 1990 without winning at least one Champions Cup. However, the problems at Everton were off the pitch rather than on it. They were run by dinosaurs who failed to recognise the changing financial situation in England at the turn of the 90s. So while the other clubs of the 'then' big 5 invested in growing their financial clout, Everton didn't but tried to spend at the same level and went broke at a crucial time when Football finances were changing dramatically. That said, Everton have a heritage and history and infrastructure that suggests that it's only a matter of time before they join the elite again. The big question for Evertonians is will it take 5 years or 50?
Even Gary didn t win any title at goodison side...2nd place in league and runner up in FA Cup ( both to Liverpool)
Lineker is great at adapting to youtube

@@josephfriel6597 ti'n iawn chan?
hes a complete fool
His not a England legend
Most of his goals were tap ins
Average footballer
@@millwallholdings hes become a moaron and has to many political views in fact he is part of the establishment now and the corrupt bbc
Doesn’t get the credit he deserves, One of the best strikers ever to come out of Britain
Agreed, whenever England needed an important goal, more often than not he got it for us. My favourite England striker of them all, it really mattered to him every time he pulled on that shirt.
Now this is a proper what I wore
This is the type of content we want, not players who are barely a day old
what i wore, last week.
The two best episodes so far have been Zola and Lineker... I wonder why?!
Lineker always comes across as a decent guy bit of class.
These ones are a lot better when the persons career actually has some substance
An inspiration to a generation. He was so good he didn't need to cheat, dive or break the rules.
ZLATAN, what an episode that would be.
Ashur of Meso check out his Netflix documentary. Top stuff
Firstly, the amount of different shirts will storm the store up
It wouldnt be much considering he was constantly taking it all off.
That be would be brilliant
Defo
Dimitar Berbatov would be a good one
I would love ginola
Great interviewer. Let's the players talk
Till this day, I still can’t believe that Leicester won the premier league. It was by far the best achievement I’ve seen in football. 5000-1, unbelievable
Yeah, it is arguably the greatest achievement in footie history.
@@mediacenterman8583 not just football, maybe even sporting history, even now i find it staggering how they managed that. a
The agueroooooo moment is up there aswell
@@footballzb-zacbookbinder5908
That was one moment for a side who should have already had the title win
Leicester city came from next to nothing,
climbed a mountain and won the title with room to spare
Was Spur's only chance of winning it. Imagine being told at the beginning of the season "Finish above Leicester to win the League".
Gary is such a storyteller
Interesting him saying Everton was the best team he played in when he played for Barcelona. Goes to show what a good team Everton had back in the day.
Or the bitterness he has towards Barcelona
That Everton team of 1985-7 is probably the most underrated team of the last 50 years. Alan Hansen was asked a few years ago if Liverpool 1986 was the best double winner in history. His reply, which caused a bit of controversy was "without a doubt, because none of the others had to beat the best team in the world to win it."
The 70's 80's and 90's had so many legendary teams and players all over Europe and in South America too. So much competition.
John Shaw, i didn’t think he had bitterness towards Barca. Because he still regularly compliments them and Messi in Twitter
Everyone new at the time that from 1985 to 87 Everton were easily the best team in Europe - amazing team.
Should've had the pair of boxers he wore on the first Match of the Day of the 16/17 season there too.
Down to earth man. Legend of the game
Humble legend!
Love Lineker, charismatic and intelligent.
He is a tool and an overpaid one at that.
Best striker England has ever had hand's down !
What a video, great concept and brilliant execution. Good job!!
He is so humble for such a quality fantastic player ...
Gary Linekar has never had a problem with nerves because he has always had integrity.
What I wore with HESKEY. An underrated beast!!!
What Heskey wore most was a confused look when he was trying to figure out where the goal was.
Clive Bindley hahaaaa. Ouch ruthless mate.
hahaha
Such a legend and a truly great striker!
One o my all-time heroes as a Striker and Sports Personality, not to mention the fact that he's never been booked or sent off in his professional career, even though I'm Scottish.
Great programme very fascinating takes me back.
Good episode. I appreciate it's not easy getting older players with stories, but the interest from the younger lads to the veterans is miles apart.
loved watching england play with lineker platt and waddle. great football , good memorys.
Easily the most underrated player in his day. It's amazing to see him get the respect he deserved then, today.
never ever get bored of listening to gazza stories what a legend.
Gary Lineker is Mr MATCH OF THE DAY.... cannot be beaten.....
And a great striker..
My favourite one so far. Great stories.
A great player and really underrated!
What a lovely review of my boyhood hero, I still get emotional about Italia 90'
I will never forget that night in Turin..so close!!
Love this series of videos, but, wish they were longer in duration. I could easily watch this for an hour or more!
What i wore with wayne rooney
Including his hair piece
''ermmmmm. ermmmm''
old ladies foo foos
That’d be 3 Everton shirts, 200 United shirts and a few England/DC United ones...
Handcuffs
Love this series, especially the retired players
Imagine bringing Messi, Ronaldo to this show some day.
Messi would be boring tbh. Just all Barca shirts lol
@@joeboy7790
True 😂
Not enough hangers
Messi and Ronaldo together
I'd like to have known something about his time at Nagoya.
Absolutely love this series
Great series .. Keep them coming
Gary Is kinda under appreciated these days, prolific goal scorer who never even got booked in his whole career
Love this. As an Everton fan, I’m delighted with what he said. Great memories.
Just stumbled across this... Very cool! Great video, man!
Great footballer, great guy👍🏼.
Hope your taking the miss. Gary's a bellend
El Poundo how is he?
@@elpoundo4235 major bellend,,decent goalscorer but a total knob as a person
One of our best ever
humble guy, I love that!
they should do one with Chiellini. "Uruguay against Italy Giorgio, there seems to be a large chunk missing from this kit though"
Legend⚽
What a career Lineker had
Remember when they did Sessegnon? A bloody joke of a player who has achieved nothing. Keep it to the legends guys.
And dele alli
hes 18 calm it
As a Fulham fan he's carried us for three years, not bad for an 18 year old.
MMG - Moon Man Guitar achieved nothing as an 18 year old playing for Fulham football club.
@@gtab well maybe they should wait till his career is over IF he wins anything
Gary lineker has to be one of the nicest most genuine people on earth
Great content from BT and a great host!
really good video, would have been nice to throw some highlights of the goals he mentioned but it was still a good watch :)
This is gunna be a LIT series
As long as they stick to retired players.
Best one so far... this format works the best with ex players
Please cover some italian football players and kits. GREAT SHOW!
True Legend
Gary Intuition Linekar, that's his middle name. Great player, cool as cucumber within the opponent penalty box. Respect
Great interview
Love Gary and great host
Legend
Legend.
love the story with Gazza!
great episode!
great series
Great stuff 👍🏿
For me, the best shirt wore by Lineker is USMNT jersey of 1985 😁👍
Future players: shearer, seedorf, ibra (when he retires) , drogba , henry, bergkamp, Rooney,
Ismail Warsame, seedorf!! Yes! I didn’t think of him, it he would have so many amazing stories as he played with so many amazing clubs and players. People don’t realise how much of a legend he is. One of the few (maybe the only?) player to win Champs league with 3 different clubs.
Even as a United fan my fave player growing up was Lineker. Absolute star striker
classy geezer is Gary
@It's ok to be a nationalist Stick to your fake university and conspiracy loons chap
This, Zola and Rio were great - next up we need Eric Cantona, Teddy Sheringham, Dennis Bergkamp, Les Ferdinand and Ian Rush
Superb. What a legend.
Top man and top footballing ambassador for the sport.
When he started talking about Sir Bobby Robson 😥 He's right, Robson would've been PERFECT for this series.
What an absolute top guy.
Lineker! Golden Boot Legend!
Great one Gary👌🏾
One of the greatest strikers
Lineker is great, amazing video #LCFC
Everyone forgets he was one of the best players in the world
Great video
I'm not a massive Lineker fan but this was very interesting. More players doing this would be great...
Everton Legend!
I’m crying I remember watching him with the bandage on the hand in wc 86
Would love to have heard more about Grampus Eight.
do more WIW with retired players
best one yet
Finally, with a great former player again. No idea why they do this with current players, especially young ones.
Much better with former players that actually have stories to tell and experienced a bunch with beautiful classic shirts. I really don't care what a 22 year old player wore 2 seasons ago when he first debuted.
Dele Alli, to name one
Gary , u looked best in that 85 Everton jersey ! What a team and what a striker !
Loved the Walkers adverts .
Van Nistlerooy would be unreal, one of my favourite strikers growing up.
Top guy 🙌
What a great Jersey he picked out
