Are they worth buying mine are on the way out I’m on 15,000 miles and they’re the original brake shoes my guess is whoever owned it before me mainly used the front brake and didn’t brake hard. I’m looking to get a bit more rear braking power

We find the stopping has an notable increased effect with the Malossi shoes.. Note: If the hub is worn the brake system whether original or Branded will not be as effective. The brake shoe system also wears the lining of the wheel Hub and this is why after many kms the brakes loose effectiveness. There is an adjustment of the actuating arm but the cam that sits between the brake shoes contacts must not reach 90 degrees when activated.

@@scooterstreetau okay thankyou I’m going to get some soon as mine are very low now I think the hub might be a bit worn too but I have no chance of finding a rear wheel for my scooter haha

I have to replace the original once a year because I drive a lot
how long will these malossi brake pads last compared to the original

Same time really, but the advantage of the Malossi is a better performomng brake, the rear brake will be far more effective than the original.
