Thanks for the great video. Just a note, the orange around the plugs is not from spark. Yes damaged boots are a common cause for misfire but not from the lower end of the plug boot, it’s boot damage near the plug tip that causes this. The white on a plug is ceramic insulator, so no path for current near the area of discoloration. The orange is most likely from oil spillage in the plug wells or an interaction with the silicon boot.

Thank you alot for this video ! I watched other videos but nobody gave a good descriptive. Review of easily getting to the plugs i was about to over-do it by removing the intake manifold and throttke body but then you showed it being a quick easy process by just removing the throttle body and do a little bit of clean up 👍👍… my pops was a master tech and even though I watched him do some jobs and helped him, I didnt get enough practice in while he was here so seeing your content and already having the tools and some knowledge makes me more confident to do some jobs myself I appreciatr bro! Especially since now Im a jz engine Owner now

I watched this video about 50 times, I’m doing my coils n plugs rn and it oil on coil boots and on top of the plugs, but no oil/dry in the “gallery”, and I only have a random misfire at idle or under load at low rpm. My question is, is the boots being worn my problem of or what
Also 1 of my plugs has that orange line on it, I still have to take the rest out bc I started doing them before I went to work thx for the help🖤
