Hi again, Dan. I had no interest in visiting my local Lidl until you started this series. Now I'm there every week, cruising the middle isles whilst the wife does the serious shopping.
The screwdriver rack looks amazing and now will have to take a trip to my local Lidl to see if I can buy one, I must admit that I am very impressed with the quality of tools from both Aldi and Lidl plus watching your videos and giving giving an honest opinion on them so many thanks

Bit of a waste of time advertising Parkside stuff. I can never find any tools advertised.
I shop regularly in Aldi and Lidl and my first port of call is always the middle aisle,you rarely get a week where you can't get a good bargain,,just found your channel and have now subscribed as I really enjoy a good tool review,I'm a retired Motor Mechanic and in the last 55 years have bought many tools and I can say positively that Pakside and Workzone tools can hold their own against more expensive tools,obviously there are the odd few that don't but not a lot,very enjoyable review

The bottle opener is an essential for all Germans, as they class beer as food. When I worked out in Germany in the 90’s they drank beer on the way to work (we watched a guy by a 10 pack of beers and have six before he left the garage every morning) during breaks and then on the way home.
So essential equipment for the trade and DIY.

Can’t believe it the screwdriver set is amazing value I got the large tape measure from Aldi after your last video. And quite a few angle grinder discs from Lidl. Great value on2 for£8. Will be looking out for the screwdriver set when next in Lidl.

I had a workzone one for years but i borrowed it to a family member and didn't ever get it back. Lesson learned i guess lol.

Really enjoy your videos. I have bought a few tools from Lidl and found them to of very good quality. That glue gun is incredible value, I may have to just buy one myself!

That glue gun would be really handy, mines seen better days. I inherited it from my Dad who's about to turn 70 and he'd had it since his 20's.

Great video. You could use the glue gun and fix the brackets in place. First spread in them in place to suit each tool. Got yourself a bespoke tool holder. Sorted

Got the tool holders mounted on the side of my rolling tool cart at work to hold my pry bars and 2ft ratchets they work perfectly I'm a mechanic by trade and use them many times a day

I got the xl screwdriver set from aldi and it was already in the stand. No faffing about putting them all in the right hole.

Nice Video Dan. Was looking at both the hook and Scraper set and Pliers set in my local Aldi but unfortunately as you found out yourself people open them and shall we be polite and say borrow items from them so I wasn't able to get a full set and there wasn't enough sets out in the baskets to make up a full set - hmmm now lets see about a comment for the glue gun prize I wont make it tacky because I'd like people to stick around and read it so perhaps its better if I just leave it here before I get stuck for words. 😁keep up the good work Dan I enjoy them all

Great deals from Lidl and Aldi. Don’t understand why the other large supermarkets haven’t followed suit.
Loving these videos. All looks great and anything I’ve got from Aldi and Lidl’s tool line I’ve never regretted buying. Wish someone would bring out a glue gun with an on/off switch on it that doesn’t cost the earth though - would be so much easier than having to keep pulling the plug out to stop the dribbles

Had a smaller lidl screwdriver set for years and never let me down, would have like a bit more of a look at the ratchet driver in your £25 set though cheers

Hello Dan, re the scraper set, that wide scraper, could be sharpened good enough to make a cheap & cheerful wood chisel.
Those screwdrivers and bits are great value.

Years ago I heard the water pump pliers called Stilson Pliers.
Stillsons are a totally different tool where the jaws are adjusted by means if a screw thread
That's a great screwdriver set, the bottle opener is a bit random though

Awesome screwdriver set at the end! may even consider one myself? the glue gun looks very handy, compact too, perhaps I might get lucky with that one? either way thanks for the video's, as I don't often get chance to go to Aldi or Lidl its good to know whats available should I want to go.
Parkside Glue gun sell off in all my local Lidls at £1.19 since Tuesday. (Petersfield, Alton, Bordon) so expect they are reduced everywhere.
With the tool holders, you could drill through the aluminium slide and rivet them in place

I like watching your videos on the tool reviews but I find that my local Lidl doesn't always have your recent purchases in stock 😑 I really wanted the rachet precision screwdriver that you reviewed but it never appeared in my Lidl.
Yep, all those "you've won send to Telegram" or whatever are just all over CZcams. It's an absolute scourge.
I've managed to get some decent stuff from Aldi. It's a shame we don't have Lidl down here in Melbourne.

That screwdriver set is amazing! I am going to have a look at one of those pretty soon. And that glue gun would come in really handy with my bits and pieces for modelling. I take it the sticks are a regular size, easy to get hold of?!
I'd be warey about using the sets of some open and ring spanners because the metal has not been toughened and can seriously damage the nuts and bolts.

I have always been attracted to shop in Lidl and Aldi specifically because of their tools. Unfortunately they seem to have cut back on the tools lately.
Having been in the motortrade and buying tools for 40 plus years. I wnt disclose how much ive spent. One of the apprentices buys tools from Aldi and Lidl, Ive got to say for the price most of them are ok, Not sure how he will get on with a warranty claim. Loving the channel.

I got the scraper set today from Aldi I'm wandering if the glue gun would work on match sticks as my late uncle used to make gypsy caravans out of them when he past away I was given tubs of matchsticks and a pot shire horse then I got poorly now trying to sort my life out and thinking of trying to make the van he didn't have time to finish.
