she has a lot of love and joy in her heart and you feel it as she sits and speaks and you feel it in her dancing, a persons spirit is very important becuase when you move the colors from your spirt and the vibrations show in the other realm and it can be felt , who u r shows up in how you dance
She is such a lovely and happy person. She seems to always be smiling or giggling and it's so refreshing to see those characteristics in a human being. I feel these parts of her personality threw her dancing as well. She has such a glowing and bright aura around her☆
Exactly what I thought. NYCB ballerinas tend to be very muscular and athletic whereas European ballerinas look thinner and "lighter". She doesn't look like a "dance athlete", like many American and especially NYCB ballerinas do
LALGfree Actually if you look at the company there are many different body types including the more "European" one. That's one of the incredible things about this company. Mr. Balanchine never passed on an extraordinary dancer because their legs were a quarter of an inch too short.
#2000 plus Thumbs-Up I am! I only JUST found this channel, Sunday 14 May 2017, so of COURSE I subscribed AND energized the bell! I witnessed the beauty of Lauren Lovette on a different channel then found this. Thank You NYC Ballet for having a channel. 😀
Ok so I am naturally a left leg dominant in ballet, and I have noticed all the turns in the core seem to be fitted for right leg dominant people. Will I have a more difficult time in ballet??
Malia Sprinkley You will be fine, just like you have trained the steps into your head, you will know how you have to move your body to perfect that turn.
She has just been promoted to principal! Go Lauren!
anna phone true!!!
I love when she dances in her sweater and tutu...she looks even softer and more feminine.
I love her innocence, the way she bursts with pride when she says "my name is Lauren Lovett and I am a dancer with the NYCB", SHE IS ADORABLE!
she seems like such a lovely human being. really genuine.
Her artistry is just perfect!

Her hair is so beautiful!
She's adorable and I love her positive and contagious outlook on life and dance
Completely random, but her hair is glorious! So long and healthy!
I love this ballet! NYCBallet has a great way of making such technical steps just dance and not so overtly placed and static.
Forget the ballet... this girl has amazing hair :D
Lauren’s outfit in this rehearsal is so gorgeous
Lauren is easy listening, relaxed such as her hands during ballet.
She is adorable! I wish NYCB would come to LA again!!
This is STUNNING
I love the music to 'Raymonda' - it ranks alongside Tchaikovsky's!
She is INCREDIBLE.
I love this!! Thanks NYCB!
OMG she makes it seems so effortless like she weighted NOTHING. It's amazing.
she has such a sweet way of talking =)
I think Lauren Lovett is amazing and talented and smart and hard working, but also, holy cow.......that hair! It is so beautiful!
She is so lovely!
Such a beautiful Ballerina. WOW!!!!!!
Love her.
I am surprised that one of the European ballet companies haven't tried to recruit her, she has the exact look that they love.
Carla L. They likely have, but she is at New York City ballet- if she doesn't want to stay there, she at least has to finish out her contract.
Carla L. she is contracted to nycb, she said it was a dream to Dance for this company......i love her.....BUT.......i miss wendy!

European companies tipically go for taller dancers
What a life . Very fortunate girl ♥️

Lauren Lovette, você é sensacional, dança lindamente e encanta na ponta dos pés.
She reminds me of Hilary Hahn, so perfect in her art and her humanity.
