I love how George Lucas included the mention of Clone Wars in the first movie.
Getting the CW flashbacks feel like a huge gift that we waited so patiently for.😄🎁
This episode really hit me in the feels. I got so emotional seeing Rex, Snips, and Skyguy together again in live action.
Dave Filoni did a excellent job with this episode! We really need a Clone Wars live action series
This episode was very cheap looking and the dialogue was awful. Just because Dave Filoni made it, doesn't mean you have to like it

Hayden Christensen really nailed his reprised role as Anakin Skywalker and that's pure unadulterated awesomeness.

I came in my pantaloons when the clone wars flashback happened, Hayden's in jedi armor looked so sick, also Ahsoka and the phase 1 clones were so crisp.
Seeing Rex in live action almost made me cry

The second I saw a jet pack I straight way new it was the siege of Mandolore
It really fits well with Old Man Kenobi doing the exposition about Anakin Skywalker to Luke with this Clone Wars live action flashbacks.
Bet the 501st Legion cosplayers were having a blast in playing as Clone Troopers in the Clone Wars live action flashbacks.
They're so lucky. They've been showing up in practically every show lol
I would love a live action Clone Wars series with Hayden as Anakin, Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan, Ariana Greenblatt as Ahsoka, and Tem as Rex! I would definitely watch that from beginning to end. But it'll probably never happen. Seeing these two flashbacks just shows that it could happen.

My eyes were in full eye candy mode after seeing this
They nailed the General Skywalker look, unlike Battlefront 2.
The Phase 1 helmets look wonky, like a mutt between AotC and TCW. Should have just been the AOTC shape but with reduced neck seal ring.

God, why wasn't there a flashback like this in the kenobi show! Instead we have reva and saving princess leia twice especially from the base!

My first day as a member of the 501st... it was hot, it was sandy, chaotic. Nothing at all like the simulations on Kamino. Of course that's pretty much the way it was for all of us, wasn't it? All that breeding, all those years of training... it doesn't really prepare you for all the screaming or the blood, does it? Frankly I'm still amazed we ever made it through the first hour, never-mind the first day.

The thing a lot of people forget is Rex already had his live action debut, in Return of the jedi. Their was a bearded man in the battle of Endor. Which Rebels confirmed was Captain Rex. But more Captain Rex is a good thing

Is it me or all clones looked like cosplay ? I mean, there is always something off when it comes to cosplay compared to real characters/costum right ? For me the clones really looked goofy af lol
I guess I can only compar to episode 2 & 3 which CGI was used for all clones so it was really perfect in terms of costume and shape.

Yeah actually some of the clones in the background running in both flashbacks were CGI too, but the ones that were live-action are always going to look off/imperfect due to the proportions of the original CGI clones
I agree with how the phase 1's looked. Their armor looked way oversized especially the pauldrons and it looks like the helmet is a mix between animated and realistic which I personally don't like, it should look like how it looks in AOTC. I feel like they nailed the phase 2s though, especially after watching Adam Savages video on one of the armors they made for the show.

But why is the 332nd division of the 501st there? They weren’t created until the battle of mandalore.
They aren’t there until the siege of mandalore flashback
@@StarWarsExpanded ahh ok nothing really stuck out to me to look like the battle of mandalore in the flashback and thought it was weird there were regular 501st clones there as I thought the whole point of the 332nd was that they were split from the 501st to be led by Rex with Ashoka on mandalore and because of that none of the regular 501st were on mandalore but in the flashback you see regular 501st troops running after the 332nd division troops.
Better than the feminist agenda of Disney Director 😂
