Thanks for stepping in as a guest judge Mr Sorrells! Long time fan here! Cheers
Edit: and thanks for the "habaki slammer" design! Very useful!
Thanks for the shout out and for helping with the challenge!
Thanks a lot for judging this challenge Walter and thanks for your nice comments on the video/Sodegarami, I appreciate it.
Thanks for Judging and being a part of this Walter!
So cool to see them all at once with your commentary. Thank you! 🔥
Thanks for the shoutout Walter and for judging!
Thanks for being a judge on this and checking out the video 🙌
That was awesome!! Thank you Walter for being apart in this and giving all of us a shoutout!!👌🏻👍🏻🙏🏻
That's awesome that you're a judge!! And such amazing builds all across the board! 😀🔥🔥🔥
Pretty awesome to see myself included in this epic lineup! Thanks Walter!
@OldHickoryForge is my pick. "Nothing to it, really"😊
What I like was the fact knife making is going strong and the young ones are jumping in with all 4rs. Happy Trails
Thank you walter for judging our builds/videos. Feel unreal to see clip of my video on yours, i've been watching you videos for many years and learned lot from you. 🙏🙏
Ther Rivers Experience for the win! Awesome blade
Thanks for the review. Its weird seeing myself on a channel ive watched since before starting my youtube.
13:37 I know this guy, he does like Yoriichi’s Katana, but don’t worry, I did comment it about the lore because THAT katana doesn’t have a signature name of the Sword Smith, which is unknown. (Based on Japan’s history, they’re endless katanas have been made without their signature names become unknown)
Love the ,'s!!
Love the look of jp's#1, Terrell silver#2, I'm sure using a soft metal like silver in the blade makes it more challenging to work with.
Cool series and blades !
Thanks for the summary. Watching all of these at once can get a little tedious.
Couldn't decide my favorite if i tried, but i can say that the roud-ish handles from the "anime" and "short zatoichi" are not my cup of sake, i'm phobic of round handles on edged weapons, amazing job all around
Awesome work everyone involved!
Thanks for putting this summary video together, and thanks for judging! That said, I'd be a bit nervous having you as one of the judges!
Congrats to all the entrants there is some mighty fine looking weapons and some really funny content in the making of these pieces and Cheers to Walter for being one of the judges.
Just wondering if there might be an unintentional slip that Red Beard Ops is not in the participants list, even though he is in your video?
Somehow I missed johns from old hickory, gonna have to check his out.
Cool ta
I already voted, love this.
Thanks for being a judge on this Walter!
Tyrell Knifeworks wins imo
Tyrell is the man!!
Denis is an incredible craftsman, though not eligible to win. That being said, I agree with you. 😁
JP gets my vote
JP appreciates you
Yeah because tyrell knife works blew them all out of the water
@theriversexperiaince
Great video! Thank you!
This challenge started by Dennis? And if i wanted to put out a challenge, who should I ask about the process?
Just for the record, Njord is pronounced more like knee-ord, with a hint of a "yuh" sound in there. If you pronounce it in one syllable you should be fine!
Njord artisan, if you see this and im wrong, sorry im just going off what i know of nordic languages.
I’m no linguist so you probably know more than I do 😄✌🏻
@@NjordArtisan lol Sven
If they cut out the blade and ground it to shape, in my opinion is a disqualification. Not knocking it I understand why it’s done.
i only have ONE rule when it comes to making Japanese blades. If you just take flat bar or leaf spring and cut the shape out and grind it to a blade than you are being lazy and disrespecting the art and culture that invented these blades. At least put in a little effort to forge the blade out of a billet. A Japanese blade has a Hamon. You can't get that from just shaping a blade from a bar. anyone with tools can do that. Show us that you are a real smith.
