The top 3 teams seem unlikely to draft Risacher, leaving him to the spurs
Reed Sheppard had a meteoric rise in the draft rankings, he's at number 3.
Fools, step right up and draft him.
Did you see the Kentucky-Oakland game?
@@sarahmccoy1941 Always take a Kentucky guard, Hasn't gone wrong in years.
You not old, I remember Bob Bass, lol.
What's your specific assessment on Ron Hollands Basketball IQ?
Gives off a Tari Eason vibe.
There’s a huge lack of consensus around this draft now and I love it. These two have very different views from the other 3 mocks I’ve seen from other CZcams draft content creators.
My ultimate dream is
Risacher at 4
Detroit doesn't need another pg
Hornets doesn't need another pg
Blazers definitely doesn't need another PG
Therefore leaving Topic at 8.
Spurs Walk away with Risacher and Topic.
Lineup
Topic
Vassel
Risacher
Sochan
Wembanyama
I LOVE THE WAY YOU THINK!!!!!
I'm thinking the same but don't think Risacher falls so Reed Sheppard is the guy
I don't see Topic falling to 8. He and Risascher are probably going top five. The spurs probably have to draft the guy they prefer at four and sift through what's left at 8.
@@pheralanpathfinder4897 with his recent injury yes it is very possible for Topic to fall to 8
@@VictorWembanyamaSpurs if the injury is serious do the Spurs want him.
The Pistons are hard to predict but Weaver has a tendency to draft guys with passing skills in the top ten. Topic could be his next swing.
If i'm the hawks, i'm trading Trae to San Antonio for both picks, Keldon Johnson etc. I'm then going to take Sarr number one, Buzelis at 4 and Knect at 8. You combine them with Murray, Jalen Johnson, Capela and Hunter. That's a very bright future in the making.
Yikes
We San Antonio fans do not care for a trade that sends both #4 and #8, and Keldon Johnson for Trae Young and his expensive contract. too much for too little in return. You can keep Trae. We will use 4 for the top player available and then Knecht at 8. We sign a free agent point guard to serve as bridge to the future point guard, be it Nikola Topic or someone else, other than Rob Dillingham.
@@sarahmccoy1941 The Spurs don't need any of those picks, they're going to be very hot in the free agent market. They can trade for Young and still add a PG13. They have plenty of money right now.
@@Juice-ig3jz A lot of versatile wings and bigs.
Do you think Murray will stick around for a full rebuild?
I remember fields at Stanford so I am old lol
When y’all say ESPN please note it’s specially Jonathon Givony someone’s that a paid outlet to these agencies. You gotta pay to play
The Spurs are the winners, and it is not even close.
It seems the tankers were punished this year, but ironically it might actually benifit some of them. Such a Silver thing to do
It’s supposed to be a lottery. Not sure the owners would approve if current system was riggable.
Tankers? What teams are you saying tanked for this draft?
@@kurtpittman7225 a few teams Detroit, Charlotte, Spurs, Grizz, Blazers, Jazz definitely tanked games. Rockets and Hawks fought to get in the play-in. Which teams moved up, which moved down in the lottery?
@@edwardd.484There's a difference between just being bad and tanking. Tanking is when you sell off assets with the intent of being bad to rise in the draft. There's no way you can claim that Detroit is tanking. They just suck.
@@kurtpittman7225 don't be naive buddy. Playing bad players to show them off for a trade is tanking. Detroit did this from the jump bro
As a Hornets fan, see me outside. We need Castle or Holland and one of the two will be available. Ron Holland, Lamelo Ball and Brandon Miller is incredible for the game Charles Lee will be trying to play. Stop being so down on Charlotte. I am personally glad they fell, it means they will take a 🍗.
Castle is a Ben Simmons 2.0 or a Draymond Green lite.
@@VanIykeI think he comp is closer to Josh Hart.
Josh hart could shoot
@@MrBAD2013 this kid won’t be 20 til November. Shot isn’t completely broken. I think he can become more than serviceable by 23.
@@stilldre247 you do t pick that high based off of hypotheticals. We thought Kai Jones would pan off based on same hypothetical. We thought Bouknight would pan out too. Ben Simmons still can't shoot for his life. So that was a wasted #1 pick.
No. Castle has to show he can do more than defend to go that high.
Matas Buzelis > Alex Sarr (just watch his brother Olivier, you’re getting length and stretch but he’s not going to bang down low and be physical yet)
Reed Shepard = 3 pt shooting TJ Mconnell
Stephon Castle= will bloom offensively in the NBA and plays with high tenacity but will be overlooked by casuals
Holland > Topic, Dillinghamn, Risachar
Castle is so far forward the better Uconn prospect over Clingan. If Clingan was an elite passer and had the cerebral aspect I’d understand him being top 6. He’s an offensive liability outside of the restricted zone and his lateral quickness/overall defense is questionable. Hes not as ample as a D lively who’s a mold I see him trying to fit so I’m not sure how much of a lob threat he is. I can just see him getting pulled out onto the perimeter and getting bbq
Castle has no confidence in his jumper, don't do it. Just another Okoro and Patrick Williams waiting to happen.
@@mikejones9906 he’s currently leading the combine in the 3 pt star drill. If you watch his high school tapes you can see he sacrificed to do what the team needed at uconn.
I don't see the Clingan hype. It feels like the typical tourney jump who doesn't live up to me hype.
@@pheralanpathfinder4897 his defense isn’t great enough to justify having no mid range or outside jumper. Just a big body
Atlanta Hawks, to get their two UNPROTECTED picks back, will trade down to the Spurs who will then have the #1 and #4 picks.
🍿
Wow this is a hornet hating group here..
Honestly just sell the hornets again we aren’t gonna win a series for another 20 years 😪
Give the new owner a chance. MJ was as bad at ownership as he was good at playing.
Houston should trade up and get Sarr. Fits extremely well on the Rockets. Protected first and a move up to 1.
That not good enough for the hawks
@@chaffusturner2107 / Atlanta Hawks are going to blow it up. So to get their two UNPROTECTED picks back, will trade down to the Spurs who will then have the #1 and #4 picks.
1.Hawks- Buzelis(6'10 with all the physical tools and high IQ)

@@norrinradd542 Makes sense? Lol
@@norrinradd542 what do you think
@@mikejones9906 I mean it's not what I have... but yeah I can see that... I like it.
@@norrinradd542 Seems logical to me
As a Spurs fan, hopefully, Rob Dillingham goes to Washington. The Spurs had one of the worst defensive players in the league last season. Dillingham is a defensive ZERO.
Who do you like for the Spurs?
@@pheralanpathfinder4897 I like Dillingham, but Castle would probably be their defensive pick.
Castle is in my top five. I'm currently favoring Topic but they have similarities.
Spurs should trade 8th pick, Atlanta 2025 pick that they have from the hawks and keldon Johnson, for Trae young
Hawks wouldn’g accept that. They need 1 more first rounder to accept that.
Barf on this deal.
Atlanta’s 2025 pick could be the top pick in the draft.
@@carsforpeople3351 Spurs don’t throw in an additional first rounder. So keep Trae.
