      Keep the music on intro and outro but turn it down a notch. Then leave it as low as possible during the ride. The sound of the bike and surroundings are more important.

    I did a track day on my bike and it was the last time I rode. Not because anything bad happened- I absolutely loved it. I just lost all desire to ride on the street afterwards. If you have any inkling to ride fast it's a must to get to the track.

      @@motorcyclenewsdotcom Thanks, it's just because I'm soon going to be able to get my A2 and I'm currently on a supersport kind of 125 with aggressive positions which makes it easy to get your knee down and go fast round the bends. Wondering since this bike is sort of like a mix of a sports and tourer how aggressive it feels and if it's well suited to the track to go fast. I would like to do track days and some fast riding on the street as well as casual commuting and some long distance now and again. Cheers.

    • @motorcyclenewsdotcom
      @motorcyclenewsdotcom  Před 5 lety +10

      @@CFGamingCentral The CBR is great for tackling the commute, touring and trackdays. It's handling is very stable and predictable (especially with the Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II tyres I've fitted) and there's plenty of ground clearance for track riding. That said, there are plenty of more aggressive options, but they will be nowhere near as comfortable as the CBR for everyday riding or touring. I recently rode to Porto and back (bit.ly/2GxtQHm) with luggage absolutely no problem. Hope that helps, all the best. Ben.

      @@motorcyclenewsdotcom Could you compare the CBR650R to the CBR500R (2016 and newer)? Is it worth the jump to upgrade from the 500R, as I am thinking of doing?

      @@Sepheriel 2cyl 48hp A2 bike vs ~93hp 4cyl.
      500R cheaper to run and maintain, 650R sounds better and goes way faster. But i can't for the life of me deal with the switched places for turn signal and horn 😂
      Ninja 650 is a good middle ground of these two bikes imo with 68hp, but the 650R is one step above when i tried it. The insurance skyrocket for me though due to the 4 cyl engine 😅

      It's a 650F where everything is just that little bit better. It's also more versatile, and looks alot better.
      Is it worth the upgrade, yes. If that's your thing.
