Loving your Band-Maid reactions so far. Some suggestions for you. I dare you to watch Band-Maid "Play" without saying "Holy $hit". Band-Maid: Play live - czcams.com/video/YeiIju_t1D8/video.html - you really haven't seen them live yet. Secret My Lips was a studio version over concert footage. Take Me Higher live - czcams.com/video/vFyYiPDZzdw/video.html Scandal: Scandal Baby - czcams.com/video/y6jBmECuRJM/video.html - Scandal has been a band for around 13 years. It's another Japanese all girl Pop/Rock group. They are so much fun to watch.
Isn't it cool how you don't have to understand any of the words, and this music is so good that it sticks in your head anyway? All of the Band Maid ladies are so brilliant at their particular discipline that it makes this...simply...PERFECT.
Putting aside how incredibly talented they are individually, and how tight and coordinated they are as a band: ain't this also a really great composition? As a rock and jazz fan I think Band-Maid's music is really sophisticated stuff.
Band Maid is incredible. Led by the three virtuosi (lead, bass, and drums). The lyrics are principally written by the rhythm guitarist, with the first arrangement of the music by the lead guitarist. Try the live version of Play. Another talented group of ladies from Japan is Aldious - Try Dominator, Re: Fire, or We Are. Ensure that you get the full song not the sample. They are also incredible live, and range from speed metal to bubblegum pop.
And next Band Maid? Of course - "Play". Best bassline of MISA, as she herself said. And October 15th it`s MISA Birthday! She got bass guitar from Black Cloud signed with her name. Finally. Birthday gift?
Nobody knows. The age of these girls is quite a problem. Recently, at a concert, Saiki explained that she was replacing Miku during the MC, because Kobato is a tired pigeon who is 810 years old.
Nice reaction to a great swaggering rock song from Band-Maid. I know people are recommending that you watch some of their fiery live performances (and I totally agree) but I also suggest at some point you watch the official video for the song Daydreaming, which is essentially a ballad with a couple of surprises up its sleeve. I think it might just be their best song.
Also, on a very different tack, you might recall I recommended a Scottish musician: singer and harpist Rachel Newton. For your consideration, here's a hauntingly beautiful traditional Gaelic song. "Mo Chubhrachan" ("My Little Fragrant One") is sung from the point of view of a woman seeking her child who has been stolen by the fairies (or perhaps mourning the death of a child). czcams.com/video/bJHxFVFD7q4/video.html
I've always been a big fan of Celtic Women and traditional Gaelic music in general. I got to see Celtic Women here in Charleston 4 years ago and it was a magnificent show! Thank you so much for this link because otherwise I would have never listened to this gem. Exquisite harp playing and a wonderful violin along with some clear and melancholy vocals. The only negative for me was the attire of the percussionist. He was very good, but come on man, blue jeans, t-shirt and a frumpy old flannel shirt while recording a music video? I suppose he was comfortable. Going from BAND-MAID to Rachel Newton is quite a leap, but I reckon it reflects my love of female vocalists and musicians. Just the man in me, I guess.
Glad you enjoyed it! Rachel also plays in The Shee, The Furrow Collective, and Boreas. All are worth investigating. As for the attire of Mattie Foulds (the drummer), I'm going to let him off because (a) he's a very good percussionist, engineer and producer, not a fashion model, (b) he's Canadian, so checked shirt, T-shirt and comfortable jeans are essentially his national dress, and (c) that's pretty much what I wear most of the time too.
Yeah, all the maids in Japan play hard like they do, you guys didn't know? Even a cat plays hard rock and metal in Japan: Nyango Star playing with Dragon Force czcams.com/video/1uYQ2KrSu4c/video.html Maids are not the only things....
Band Maid need to move on to the world stage. They do not receive any negiltilve comments on media, But the promoters need to address all North American interests, There are options if you sell out early to upscale the label failed to capitalize on this. I would bail.
Just one thing surprise me. Wanna hear more about de "J-Metal" but have no reaction to X-Japan X-Japan is "THE BAND" of Japan music. From 1982, they separate in 1997 and join again in 2007 to present. X-Japan is the "inspiration" behind the productor of Babymetal, is "the father" of Japanese metal. This band is legendary, even have a documentary film about them (available in english) czcams.com/video/YMw1ObQuhNk/video.html They do from progressive metal, symphonic, power, speed... the founder, compositor and drummer of this band was asked from the Japan´s gobern to compose a suite to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Emperor Akihito's enthronement. Must hear this band. Try a theme from an old concert like this czcams.com/video/4-zXzhfP2YM/video.html And maybe some of the new works like this one czcams.com/video/W37_xInM448/video.html
Their genre doesn't demand more sounds in her set. If the band wants to evolute in complexity a bigger set would be good to add more layers and depth to their sound.
I have a few issues with this song. Like some of their other songs, DICE has a similar construction - start heavy, transition to a chorus with a pop feel, then back to heavy. That, and like many other songs of their's, the guitar solo isn't long enough for me. I mean, damn it, give me more Kanami! There is a new all-female metal band from Japan called Lovebites. Their song - Shadowmaker has an extended duel guitar solo. It's beautiful.
Yes More Band-Maid and Babymetal! I highly recommend you to react on [Official Video] Unlucky Morpheus - 「CADAVER」「REVADAC」+sheet music czcams.com/video/_yrNRhIreyE/video.html they're Japanese, great musicians, this song is on fire like an art!

I coudn't say more. These ladies are just so talented. Real musicians and artist right there. Another great reaction for you guys. 👍
They are unreal!!
@@LostinMPK I don't care if you do a reaction video or not, but another great all female Japanese band you guy's should check out called Drop's.
All 5 of them are simply incredible ladies. And really unassuming too, as in don’t realize what badasses they truly are.
Happy Birthday MISA, our favorite Assassin Maid!
(It's already October 15th in Japan.)
Always up for another BAND-MAID reaction. Keep them coming.

BMAID's best song non stop rcker with two solos WOW.

When listening to the Maids always keep one thing in mind. They are the masters of "kicks and stops". Drummers know what I mean..Domination!!
"May I take you a order?" Yes, I would like more of this please.

Have you seen how small Akane(the Beast)'s Drum kit is. Who said bigger is better
Their genre doesn't demand more sounds in her set. If the band wants to evolute in complexity a bigger set would be good to add more layers and depth to their sound.
wonder if u guys interested to check out Keyakizaka46-Hiraishin or Futari Saishon. yes, they're idol group.

That's what it's about. Give a little then everyone wants more. A clever girl.
1st rule in entertainment: Always leave them wanting more.
Yes, unlike many guitarists, Kanami's solos always leave me wanting more. Which means, I think, that they are exactly the right length.
I think Kanami did it on purpose. She doesn't want more attention than other girls and give other member balance exposure.
Hi. Dimash will held his concert in London on 19th November 2018.
Ling Tosite Sigure - "Chocolate Passion". Amazing, assaulting music, great video (those lights!).
