    My amyloidosis was found via a biopsy from an endoscopy.

      I was told a few years ago that I suffered from malabsorption. Never expected this!

      @@ellensmith6580 Are you currently being treated? I have hypothyroidism, but every organ common with amyloidosis is involved. 7 months on Levothyroxine and it isn't helping my organs. I had rapid weight loss just prior to being diagnoses with hypothyroidism. 25 pounds in 2 months. Malabsorption gut issues that resembles celiac disease. Kidney, Liver, heart, eye, brain, nerve and bone issues. After reading on Amyloidosis, I have no plans on treating it by any other means aside from Ayurvedic. Amyloidosis can trigger hypothyroidism.
